Krystal's distinctive style is a sophisticated balance of fine art, documentary, and timeless portraiture. She has a trained artist's eye for beauty and composition with a finely-honed talent for creating stunning portraits. Krystal captures authentic moments as well as the true emotion and beauty of the day while putting couples at ease with her calm disposition. She uses both film and digital cameras for weddings and has been photographing weddings since 2007. Currently, she has shot over 450 weddings. Krystal is a graduate of the University of Montana’s Fine Art Department where she received a B.F.A. in Fine Art Photography and a minor in Media Arts.
She lives in Chapel Hill and Napa Valley with her husband who is the Estate Director of Bond Wine in Napa Valley.
