A Lime Green and White Whimsical Wedding at the Carolina Inn
The vision for our wedding was a romantic and whimsical party! The vibe was elegant with pops of lime green and classic touches of white.
Walter and I have always loved food and wine! It’s only right that Walter proposed in Napa Valley, California, ahead of a weekend full of fabulous wine tastings and great reservations alongside our families!
My wedding gown was made by Ines de Santo and was an absolute dream. I fell in love with the delicate floral appliques and the shape of the dress.
We wanted our food and beverage to feel elevated and familiar for our guests! During cocktail hour, we had passed hors d'oeuvres of pimento cheese fritters, braised pork belly, seared scallops, and ahi tuna wontons as well as a raw bar with shrimp cocktail, local oysters, and crab claws. Dinner at the reception included an autumn vegetable and kale salad, followed by main course options of Filet Mignon or Faroe Island Salmon. Our signature drinks were a French 75, Spicy Margarita, and Woodford on the rocks. We served wine that was close to our hearts - all from places we had traveled to together!
Our florals were curated by Once Gathered. They executed our vision of elegance and romance with white orchids, green and white anthuriums, large white roses, and calla lilies. Our ceremony backdrop was our favorite part, boasting beautiful drapery and a cascade of florals.
