From Tessa Lyn Events... Lovers of mid-century architecture and the colorful culture of Palm Springs Melissa Stein and JL Singer chose Empire Polo Club outside Palm Springs for their winter wedding.
The wedding design was a blend of a classic formal wedding with nods to the bright and playful style of Palm Springs.
At cocktail hour, guests sipped specialty cocktails topped with ‘cocktail graffiti’ before finding their names written on hot pink acrylic palm trees displays on a wall with a "P. S. I Love You" neon sign. Surprise sparklers helped draw guests from cocktail hour into a grand enclosed tent.
Inside the fully draped tent, we chose centerpieces of greenery and white flowers suspended over pale blue linen covered tables, distressed white-wash vineyard chairs, and simple glass place settings. The 12x12 floral chandelier over the dance floor was the focal point of the night.
