From O’Malley Photographers…B + E are the sweetest couple and we can’t wait to document their wedding in October! They decided to shoot their engagement in the Pacific Northwest where they are getting married and near where they just purchased their first home. It was a warm and overcast day, which made the intense greens the PNW is known for truly pop and shimmer.

While I can be swayed by almost any color (be still my heart beautiful blush), this palette right here, these gorgeous ivories and peach, dusty blues and sage, are the colors I keep coming back to time and time again. From Anna Peters… When planning their engagement session, Brittany and Erik knew they wanted to incorporate their love for the outdoors and the gorgeous Pacific Northwest scenery in western Washington. When we met at the base of the Rattlesnake Ridge one lucky sunny Seattle day, they were up for an adventure, which resulted in exploring quiet trails surrounded by towering pines, hiking two miles up to the top of the ridge, and taking their canoe out onto the lake while the sun sank behind the hills to round out a unique and breathtaking day. One of my favorite details was Brittany’s simple gold bangle, which has the coordinates of their wedding venue engraved on it! With a little exploration, we were able to take advantage of the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I can’t encourage couples enough to be open to a bit of adventure for their engagement session!

From Jasmine Nicole Photography… Being new to the Seattle area, I have been itching to explore my new surroundings. When I saw photos of this hike (Rattlesnake Lake), I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for an inspiration shoot and was so happy to bring along this gorgeous couple, Nate + Hannah, for the adventure. I imagined something whimsical and romantic, offbeat, yet natural, and I feel they helped me pull it off!
