TheGrooves is a professional wedding band based in Westchester, NY.
"The Grooves" began with a handful of friends who happened to be great musicians who began playing at private parties and local country clubs around Long Island and Queens, New York.
"The Grooves" have become a sought after live event / wedding band.
You would deal directly with the band. No agents, No stress, No egos,
No hidden fees and we work inside your budget.
We have a vast list of songs and if needed, we can easily learn something that you want to hear.
Our job is to "Keep 'Em on The Dance Floor" - We play Motown, Funk, Disco Hits and 90s 2000s anthems like Blink 182, No Doubt or Beck - keeping everyone engaged and jumping around.
Five core members make up the band, and we invite more friends to join if you want a horn section or need to expand the sound!

The Grooves were recommended to me as I sought out a band for my wedding reception. They could not have done a better job! They worked within my budget. I loved what I saw on their website but that hardly compares to how wonderful they actually were at our reception! Bruce, the band leader was especially communicative throughout the months leading up to the wedding. He reached out every few weeks to make sure we were on track and talk about how he and the band could make the night more perfect for us. We were requesting With This Ring by the Platters because we wanted to learn the Carolina Shag. The band played that perfectly and created a full Shag set to keep my NC family and us on the dance floor. Our caterer even mentioned how good they were!! I think the most important review I can give is from my guests. I had countless people come up to me all night long and ask "WHERE did you find this band?" and proclaim "I LOVE this band!" My advice to you is to book them as soon as you can!
