Hello! My name is Jill Emmer and I am based in Brookfield, WI. I specialize in a blend of documentary-style storytelling and whimsical artistic photography. I love to work with my clients to capture their artistic visions whether it be dark & moody, film and modern blur, or classic, clean and bright. My work includes a combination of posed and candid shots that are fresh and timeless. Natural! I love to shoot many different genres. As an artist I love shooting minimalism, surrealism, public art, props, bright colors, my family, travel and up north Wisconsin scenery. For work I enjoy weddings, high school seniors, sports, branding, families, engagements, maternity, lifestyle, tourism, local products and events. I’ve worked as a photographer for many brands including Nikon, Verizon, SoFi, Leinenkugels, Sun Country Airlines, AT&T, Fjallraven, Stormy Kromer, Milwaukee Co Transit, South Dakota Tourism, Door County Tourism, etc. I’ve gone on some amazing photography assignments like Costa Rica for a Pilates retreat, Puerto Rico for an architectural magazine, and Uganda for the American Refugee Committee. I typically take 2-3 weddings per month. I am usually bursting with creative ideas for my clients and I would like to keep it that way by limiting the amount of weddings I shoot!
