The Main Lodge is the optimal indoor space for guest connection, boasting an elegant dining room and lounge, intimate communal spaces complete with fireplaces and soft leather club chairs, plus the newest addition—the elegant Morningside Room bar boasting a stunning tented ceiling and a place to tuck away to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails. The gardens and grounds surrounding the property offer moments of tranquil restoration through time spent in handmade rocking chairs, by the koi pond, or on one of the secluded greenery-laden paths in the woods. Overnight guests can experience a true retreat in the Walker and Wiley guest houses — named as an ode to the original resident of the Lodge. These accommodations feature custom-crafted furniture in classic lodge style and the country-house comfort of luxury linens and amenities. Helmed by acclaimed Chef Trevor Stockton, The Restaurant at RT Lodge serves intentional and technique-driven dishes hinged on the regional culinary traditions and local ingredients from area purveyors, including Chef Stockton’s own family’s hog farm in Gainesboro, TN. RT Lodge is such a special place. Ali is the best, along with the rest of the team. They work hard to make you happy and bring your vision to life. All of our guests said they had first class service and amazing food. It is rare to go to a wedding and remember the food, but you do when at RT. Our wedding at RT Lodge was magical! Staff members thoughtfully and professionally attended to every detail throughout the entire process. They went beyond our expectations to ensure our wedding was exactly what we had hoped it would be. When we had to postpone our original wedding date due to the pandemic, RT took care of rescheduling all of our vendors. They even offered to coordinate a small private ceremony on their property so we could exchange our vows on our original date. RT Lodge is truly the ideal venue for hosting the perfect wedding. We feel so fortunate to have been able to have had our wedding at RT Lodge…they helped us create memories that will last a lifetime!
