About
Fr Joe is a Priest in the Order of Franciscan Servants, a Progressive Catholic Community and a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York with a Master of Divinity Degree in Ministry and Pastoral Care. I am currently assigned to Saint Joseph Mission Church, bringing the Gospel to those in the margins and to people in need wherever they may be. I have completed 10 years of CPE (Chaplain Program) at the Jewish Theological Seminary in NYC and a member of the National Spiritual Care Association. The mission has celebrated over 600 weddings in traditional and non-traditional Catholic, Christian and Interfaith ceremonies and we would be honored to celebrate with you. We can come to you for any of these gifts. God does not live in a Church but is always present wherever Love is. Those seeking Marriage, Baptism (of children or adults), Holy Communion, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, and Last Rites please contact the Parish Office. PREP/CCD/RCIA are all made easy with the help of God’s grace. St. Joseph Mission is a Progressive Catholic Church and we offer an “Open Table” at all Masses where all are welcome! Wedding Off-Site Options Available
Traditional Wedding with Modern Marriage PREP/Pre-Cana
(includes the traditional Catholic/Christian wedding ceremony, an initial meeting at the Parish (or on phone/Face-time), PREP or Rehearsal (both can be done) and attendance at ceremony – 20-25 minute service)
Custom Wedding with Marriage PREP/Pre-Cana
(includes a created personalized Catholic, Christian, or Inter-faith ceremony, additional options will be provided in a 90 Page Wedding Guide for you (Unity Candle, Wine Ceremony, Sand Blending, Breaking of Glass, Hand-Fasting, etc.,), Sacred readings, communion if requested; PREP or Rehearsal (both can be done) – normally a 30-35 minute service)
Nuptial Wedding Mass with Marriage PREP/Pre-Cana
(Includes ‘Custom Wedding’ above and a full Mass with Communion (1 hour service), plus Marriage Pre-Cana session or Rehearsal (both can be done). There are certain restrictions on the type of facility that a Mass can take place and must be pre-approved by your Priest prior to booking a date.
