Based in Stanfordville, NY, Love in Focus photographs weddings throughout the East Coast. Documenting couples’ milestone moments is Owner Erika vonGraevenitz’ dream. This talented photographer is bursting with passion and creativity. She aspires to delight and surprise couples with beautiful photojournalistic images.
Erika has always loved weddings since childhood and was inspired to follow her dreams for photography by her father. This skilled artist has worked hard to build on her talents. She studied photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. From here, Erika developed her own style and decided on her photojournalistic niche. This experienced professional followed her wedding photography dreams.
Love in Focus is set up to capture the genuine moments and love as they are happening during the big day. This talented creative takes the atmosphere and elements around her to inspire her stunning artistic images. Erika reveals the feelings and personalities of the people in front of the lens. Her posed and candid images let clients look back on their special day with wonder and joy. Erika strives to take pictures of magical moments. Her photos highlight the intense love between couples on their special day. After the celebrations, Erika shares digital files and can produce prints and albums of the event. The digital files can easily be shared with loved ones on social media and through a custom link. This keen professional offers engagement sessions to document he clients’ story from the beginning!

She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She was extremely professional and personable when interacting with our wedding guests. She made everyone feel included and special. We were extremely satisfied with her performance throughout the whole day and were delighted to see how she found time to catch very special details throughout. The bridal shots were perfection, she made me feel comfortable and photogenic and offered plenty of pointers on posing naturally. Erika provides the whole package: she was easy to coordinate with in the planning phases leading up the Special Day and helped us identify all the moments we wanted to capture. She was calm, attentive, and charismatic to work with, even went beyond her role as photographer to help rescue us from a couple hiccups.

Hire her! SHE’S IT! Starting months before my wedding, Erika asked all the right questions to prepare for my big day. She promptly answered any questions I had and she is so personable that I never minded emailing or texting her my million questions. I even made a shared Google doc for my “brain dump” I’d add to at all hours of the night and she was totally on board with that. She is so creative and her pictures are a piece of art. I always feel so awkward taking photos, but with Erika’s sense of humor and her professional coaching (i.e. back straight, hand here, tilt head, look here) she made every photo look so natural and made it so much fun in the process. My husband and I both agree our day would not have been the same without them there. Besides the laughter and comfortability they brought to our day, they became friends we follow on Instagram and hope to see again soon.
