My name is Joanne, the creative director and chief photographer at Joanne Keighery Photography. I am based in Victoria where I work throughout the state, however I also travel interstate and to Bali and Fiji.
My main goal is to showcase your gorgeous day in the most beautiful way possible, mixing editorial elements with candid emotional moments to really tell your unique love story.
I pride myself on being inclusive, kind and welcoming. All love is welcome at Joanne Keighery Photography.
My aesthetic leans toward the smaller beautiful elements of your day and I love using these as a creative base to create flatlays and magazine worthy vignettes. Most of all I like to give room for your big emotions - I don't believe a wedding day will be relaxing and chill. As nice as that sounds, it is important to realise the day will magnify your emotions, there will be absolute highs, nerves and maybe some reflective moments too. I come prepared to capture everything and help you look amazing while you do it.
Every wedding is unique because the couple is unique! That's you - you are the secret sauce of your wedding photos. I just help you to relax in front of the camera. I have fine tuned my photography to create galleries that are varied, purposeful, and joyful so you can get back to your wonderful day. I love to mix editorial and candid in a classic style that will stand the test of time.
Your day can also be forever cherished in a luxury fine art album. You may choose to have a trilogy of albums, some parent albums or wedding party gift albums. Nothing really tells the story of your day afterwards like custom made bespoke prints and albums.
Another element you may want to consider is an engagement session. Together we'll create a plan and a moodboard for your engagement session. Lots of couple's marrying in Melbourne and Geelong may opt for an interstate engagement session which can add to the variety and drama of your union. The images can then be artfully woven into your day.
When I'm not photographing my gorgeous clients, I'm hanging out in Geelong with my husband and son, reading too many books, watching interiors shows and British crime dramas.
