Hi there! I’m JoAnna Marie, a luxury destination wedding photographer with a passion for capturing love stories across the globe. Originally from Houston, Texas, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to over 20 countries, which has allowed me to photograph weddings in some of the most breathtaking places on Earth. I truly believe that two is better than one and he who finds a wife finds a good thing! I wish I could give JoAnna more than 5 stars, because her service and abilities far exceeded anything we could have imagined. We asked JoAnna to re-shoot our engagement photos after our previous photographer did not deliver what we wanted. She understood our style and posing habits, and simply told us to show up to Central Park. Leading up to our session, JoAnna diligently monitored the peak of cherry blossom season and weather, and mapped out and tested our walking route one week before. During the session, she gave us clear but simple posing instruction every step of the way, which was extremely helpful in finding natural, candid shots. My first engagement shoot was extremely stressful, but our shoot with JoAnna was actually fun. She kept us updated on the edits process and had edited our photos while incorporating our concerns about skin tone differences, and had our finished album within 1-2 weeks time. JoAnna was such a pleasant photographer to work with. She's professional, communicative and really makes you feel very comfortable during the photoshoot. She would give you some prompts but overall, she lets you go with the flow to take natural shots. Our photos came out beautifully.
Her dedication shows through her actions. She took the train at 4:30am so she can get to our location on time and to make sure she has time to set up. She puts all her focus on the couple and it shows through her work.

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of having JoAnna as our engagement and maternity photographer. This was actually my first photo shoot and I normally don’t like taking pictures, but she made it really easy and comfortable.
The entire process was super easy going and very professional. All the pictures came out really nice and her editing was on point.
