As a strong observer and visual thinker, wedding photography often feels like people-watching. And creating the story of your day usually begins in my mind- long before it's captured with my camera.
This is why you'll never find me on auto-pilot, copying and pasting the same images from one wedding to the next. Or simply capturing everything that happens only to deliver a hodge-podge of images.
Instead, as I photograph your day, I'll observe the energy, interactions, and moments around me. I'll incorporate the lighting and weather into your story. And because I incorporate film into my work, I've trained my eye to look for still moments —in real-time.
Through the years I have been been grateful to be recognized in the wedding community through publishings by Martha Stewart Weddings, Rocky Mountain Bride, and Carats and Cake.. In 2022, 2023, and 2024 I was nominated by Kansas City wedding vendors for KC's Best Wedding Photographer.
