I call myself an emotion junkie, because I’m absolutely addicted to images that show real emotion. When I catch that perfect moment of laughter or tears or love, it warms my heart and makes me happy.
I love my clients! I feel like I work best when I can get a sense of your style, your personality, and what’s special about you. I want your sessions with me to make you feel comfortable, seen, and appreciated. I value REAL over perfect, and I love it when someone tells me their images really capture who they are.
I’ve been a full-time photographer for 20 years, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with celebrities like Rick Ross, Cardi B, Tracee Ellis-Ross, Quavo, Idris Elba, Keshia KnightPulliam, and Tyrese Gibson. My photos have been published in magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair, Ebony.com, Style Me Pretty, Munaluchi Bride, The B Collective, Buzzfeed and Huffpost.

Janet was amazing to work with from our first email to her. She was extremely prompt with responses to any and all questions (so nice for a stressed out bride!) throughout our whole contract.
