Welcome! My name is Wioletta Gavrilova, but you can call me Viola, Violet or V for short. I am a professional photographer based in the mountains of North Carolina where I reside with my three children, partner, a Great Pyrenees dog and a Siamese cat. I have a degree in Visual Art, but I have been fascinated by photography since I was 14 years old. I moved to the United States from Poland when I was just 16, but my passion for art and photography never dwindled. I created my first freelance photography business in 2010 where I mostly shot moody and aesthetic self-portraits that I later sold as prints. I also designed logos and CD covers for bands. I created my wedding business, Ethereal Moments Art, in 2018 and ever since it has continued to grow. I have experience shooting dozens of weddings annually, as well as filling my time in between with family and engagements sessions.
I have a deep love for candid moments and epic surroundings.

Documenting the ethereal, joyful, loving emotions and organic connections between you and your loved ones is what draws me to fine art and candid photography. I want to illustrate the depth and intimacy that y'all share in a timeless style. I also try to let your personalities and relationship together guide the way that I photograph you. All couples and families are unique, and I want your photos to feel and look like you.
My photography process includes some traditionally posed photographs, but I don't concentrate solely on them. They are just a formality that I want to document. The real essence of my work lies in my ability to capture organic, ethereal moments.
When decades have passed, and you look back at your album, prints, and canvases I want every glance to revoke significant feelings and memories. I want you to have something far more precious than anything else, your love, and your memories. Preserved. Forever.
