Our shooting style is a more photo-journalistic, lifestyle, and candid with a dash of fashion magazine.
We like to say that we’re appropriately interactive photographers who like to add to the experience of the day and make stuff happen. We encourage silly and weird, embrace crazy and adventurous, and we relish in pure love and emotions. We’re there to make you look awesome and cool as well as enjoy the day to its fullest and have fun.
We operate under the simple concept of… “If you’re not having fun, then you’re doing it wrong.”
What does appropriately interactive mean?
Well, exactly that. We interact with our clients, talk to their guests, and play our part in the day no matter what craziness happens throughout the day… But we do so in an appropriate way based on the client and the moment. Some clients need that little extra push toward a moment and some don’t… Some need encouragement to get silly and express themselves while others don’t. We’re there to make your engagement or wedding day special and memorable. By the time we finish an engagement shoot and wedding day, we’re all BFF’s.
The experience of hiring us as your creative team is just as important as us delivering high-quality photos and videos of all of your special moments.
At the end of the day, we’re hugging you and your parents and your grandmas… And offering high fives to anyone willing… We’re present with a purpose… Professional wedding guests, if you will.
With posing… well… We can pose you but prefer not to ‘pose‘ anyone as we’re looking for a more natural interaction between you both.
However; we do understand how weird it can be having a huge camera aimed at you… So we’re there to guide you into poses, situations, and moments that let you be you and fit your personalities. We’re there to set the stage, make you look awesome, and capture your love no matter how involved you need us to be in that particular moment.
We also make sure you don’t look stiff or weird… Unless of course, we’re going for that hipster vibe, then stiff and weird it is!
We’re not a normal photography studio, we like personality and adventures. So if you’re looking for boring rigidly posed unauthentic photos… We’re not the photographers for you. But if you’d like to have fun, play, be weird,act silly, be romantic, and look dope af… Then you’re at the right place. Let’s do this!
Our main goal in any shoot is to capture the raw emotion, personality, and energy of your relationship, your engagement, and your wedding day to create images that you will love and be proud to share for a lifetime.
For an engagement… Treat it like a date. Just be extra lovey and only talk about your relationship and the reasons you fell in love. Hang out, love each other and have a good time, and the photos will simply happen naturally.
For a wedding… Well, it’s a wedding, so be present at your wedding. Participate in your special day and make some memories with your closest friends and family. The photos are important but you also have to slow down and simply enjoy the day that’s happening around you.
