About

Castello Camemi is a location steeped in charm and history, perfect for an unforgettable wedding of good taste and elegance in the beautiful province of Catania, Italy. The Castello Camemi was built in the 15th century and was originally a fortified castle. The structure was home to the Ventimiglias, a noble Sicilian family of Genoese origin. It is currently part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The Castle offers a series of richly decorated halls and lush and evocative outdoor spaces, perfect for hosting a wedding reception even for more than 400 guests. Castello Camemi is a location of enormous charm for your wedding reception, where you can enjoy a banquet unrivalled in quality and organization and possibly a regenerative stay in a landscape of incredible beauty. The location also gives you the opportunity to celebrate a romantic civil ceremony in loco. The location has its own restaurant, made out of the old four-bay barn and featuring exposed wooden beams, an 18th-century pitchstone floor and dry-stone walls. The restaurant's chef will delight you with gastronomy inspired by local cuisine, prepared with ingredients that are always fresh and wholesome. Particular attention is also paid to the restaurant's wine cellar and pastries, the latter based on old family recipes handed down for generations. The location offers 13 rooms, three of which are located on the Piano Nobile and the others within the central courtyard. All rooms are finely furnished with period elements and have been placed so as not to alter the original structure and charm of the Castle.
