Thank you so very much to Siobhan at DollFace Studio for sending us today’s wedding. The photography was beyond belief gorgeous, the details were flawless and the bride and groom were glowing. And of course, a huge thank you to Anne and Dave for sharing you special day with us! We wish you many years of love and laughter.
If you are just now popping in to SMP, we are featuring the most gorgeous wedding…complete with a stunning Indian Ceremony and a more traditionally Western reception. I love the blending of two cultures that allow us to have a beautiful glimpse into each half of the couple.
From the fabulous team at DollFace…
After a short ceremony outside the guests enjoyed cocktails before heading into the tent for dinner, dancing and toasts. While the cocktail hour was in full swing Darah and I took Anne and David all around the property as the sun was setting for their portraits. There were so many awesome details to this wedding, the paper lanterns in the tent, the tables that were each named after the bride and grooms favorite restaurants, off the hook cupcakes from one of the best bakeries in philly, her Monique Lhuillier wedding dress with bolero jacket, her Gucci heels….so much attention was put on everything and it really showed. One thing that everyone couldn’t help but notice was how much these two were in love…they had such a sense of calm about them when they were together and looked at each other with so much affection.
More to come!

Total, unabashed elegance. Love every bit of it…from the simple, but gorgeous menus placed on the modern chargers to the absolutely lovely florals. And speaking of florals, there were quite a few vendors that helped to make this event happen. Here’s the run-down:
Wedding Planning: cHill Weddings, LLC
Catering: Shackamaxon Catering
Rentals: Anthony Rentals
Photography and Video and Makeup: Doll Face Studios
Hotel and location of Indian Ceremony: Hotel Fie Sole
Cake, cupcakes, and cookies: Brown Betty Desserts
So much more to come!
Today’s real wedding was a marriage of two cultures, with a traditional Indian ceremony followed by a Western style reception…celebrating the bride and the groom to perfection. There really is only one word to describe Anne and Dave’s wedding reception…elegance. The simple, stunning color palette is just so timelessly gorgeous, it’s hard not to fall in love.

So much more to come from this gorgeous reception! In the meantime, head over to the Little Black Book Blog, where we are featuring a fabulous rehearsal dinner designed by AK Event Design.
Before I show you the pictures from today’s reception, you have to see how ridiculously gorgeous this bride and all of her accessories are. Makes me want to run out and buy that Monique Lhuillier capelet right now!
A really great little tidbit…as you know, the GORGEOUS photographs are by the fabulous DollFace in Philadelphia. Well, believe it or not, they also did all of the bride’s make-up! And the crazy part is…both the make-up and the photography are as good as they get. LOVE that, as photographers, they saw just how important bridal make-up is in taking beautiful images. Genius.

A few more spectacular photographs, by DollFace Studios, of Anne and Dave’s gorgeous Indian ceremony…
I am in love with these images…they are so telling, so unbelievably poignant. The photograph of the rings is literally a work of art. And guess what, it just keeps getting better and better. Wait until you see the stunning reception that Anne and Dave held. It’s simply beautiful.
I love today’s real wedding. Mostly because it satisfies my two very distinct personalities…the one that loves vibrancy and color, and the one that is drawn to sheer, simple elegance. Anne and Dave were married this past August in a traditional Indian Ceremony at the Hotel Fiesole, which was followed by a gorgeous Western reception at Dave’s aunt’s private home.
The wedding was sent to us by DollFace, an absolutely wonderful photography studio out of Philadelphia…
Here are a few details from Dollface…
We started out early in the morning at Hotel Fie Sole where Anne and her girls were getting ready. Darah did the make up for Anne, her mom, mother in law and most of the bridesmaids. Once that was done Anne got dressed in her traditional Indian wedding dress and we headed downstairs to begin the Indian ceremony. After the ceremony they served lunch for their guests while Anne went upstairs and got changed for ceremony number two which was taking place at the grooms Aunt’s house.
