Monet Inspired Elopement at Sunstone Villa

You won’t believe all the beauty that one gorgeous dress can inspire. A floral Monique Lhuillier gown served as the starting point for this Sunstone Villa elopement, filled with delicate hues and darling details from Embark Event Design. Continuing the printed floral theme, Lumaca Paper designed a custom and sustainably sourced invitation suite that perfectly complimented the locally sourced welcome baskets that greeted guests upon arrival. Whimsical greens and garden roses, designed by Noonan’s Wine Country Designs, brought the reception dinner in the olive groves to life. The love-filled day was magically captured by Ashley Ludaescher Photography. See all the romance, fashion, and fun in the full gallery.

From Embark Event DesignThis timeless inspiration is full of garden influenced blooms, stunning bridal fashion, pops of soft hues, tons of texture, an authentic loving couple, and the most iconic location – all captured perfectly on film by Ashley Ludaescher Photography.

We centered this design around our bride’s gorgeous Monique Lhuillier floral gown. With a classic a-line shape and voluminous sleeves, this dress has many classic elements that allows for the floral fabric to remain timeless.

Fresh blooms full of texture added depth to the design, using soft colors to compliment the many tones throughout the day – from our bridal bouquet, overflowing with pops of soft mauve, blue, and lavender hues to blooming tablescapes, set for an intimate dinner among the olive groves.

The Ultimate Galentine’s Celebration Where Every Detail Was Thought Out In The Cutest Way

Editor’s Note: This absolutely fabulous Galentine’s party was hosted last year before Covid-19 hit the states. To take in all the inspiration from this AH-mazing party and make it covid-compliant, we recommend consulting your local CDC guidelines and implementing masks, socially distanced seating, or even take it virtual!

“What’s Galentine’s Day? Every Feb. 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it breakfast style.” Galentine’s Day might have been the subject of a “Parks and Recreation” episode back in 2010, but it soon spurred a cultural phenomenon that celebrated my best gal friends every year across the United States.

In the spirit of ‘ladies celebrating ladies’, Boston-based wedding planners and designers Kelly Golia and LBB Member Kate Murtaugh planned, designed, and styled a Galentine’s Day celebration that we know to Style Me Pretty readers will want to recreate with their own group of friends this February. The event was complete with Valentine’s day inspired color palette, a mimosa wall, personalized vintage Valentines, and a beauty bar ready for any lipstick touch-ups, to name a few! Nearly 50 New England-based female creative entrepreneurs included designers, floral designers, stylists, caterers, photographers, calligraphers, and more, participated in bringing this celebration to life.

The day was designed to be part shoot, beauty bar, and boozy brunch, but most importantly, it was a day filled with an overwhelming sense of community and collaboration as we celebrated our local community of female creatives and all of our sweet Galentines. The event was broken out into two parts: the first featuring a feminine family-style brunch set for 50 gals. The table was adorned with layered blush and petal china, minimalist gold flatware from Party Rental Ltd., and retro-inspired paper goods from The Paper Perfectionist.

An ombre effect balloon installation designed by Fig Balloon Co. Hung overhead, while a 40-foot tablescape featuring breathtaking ombre floral centerpieces and candles from Bloom 52 lined the table. Guests enjoyed a fun Leslie Knope inspired brunch from Mood Food Event and Suddenly Simple events, including waffles with strawberry maple butter, spinach frittatas, and avocado toast. Dessert included chocolate covered strawberry and cookie butter-flavored cakes in shades of pink and red from Lizzie’s Bakery and the coolest conversation heart sugar cookies with female empowerment sayings like “girl power,” “girl boss,” and “ladies celebrating ladies” from Givan Sweets.

The second part of the celebration included four individually styled lounge areas that some of the attendees and contributors were responsible for designing. These areas included gorgeous floral designs, stunning stationery sets, and detailed styling. Each Galentine was encouraged to take her new headshot in – perfect for a resume or new Instagram profile picture! Once guests had time to mingle and have their new headshot taken, the ladies were encouraged to snag a mimosa from the champagne wall from Refined Rentals and be seated for brunch.

Since it wouldn’t be Galentine’s Day without a little love note, a personalized Valentine designed by Kelly, Kate, and The Paper Perfectionist was left at each place setting, featuring a baby photo of each guest. It was a sweet moment in which each guest could look back on their childhood and see how far each one of those little girls has come and succeeded. We all love celebrating weddings and their own unique love stories, but what about the love stories we experience with our business partners, friends, colleagues, or own work wives? To quote Leslie Knope, Galentines’s day really is “the best day of the year!”

From Katie Rhodes PhotographyA European wedding at home in the United States while our flights are grounded by COVID-19. This inspiration was for brides with romantic hearts and an originally intended destination wedding across the seas. A romantic “European” wedding is possible at home in the United States.

From the chateau venue itself sitting just off the water to the French beverage during cocktail hour, we pieced together details to serve brides local to the states who had planned on getting married in France. The unique boxed-invitation suites with hand painted artwork and personalized royal-style monogram showcases more romance just like the city of love itself. When time to be seated, guests enjoy a personal wedding cake also indicating a seat saved for them.

To tie in to France, the bride and guests relish a French 75 while the Groom’s choice of drink is a Sidecar, nodding to his vintage Rolls Royce in which the couple drives off.

Despite the idea of “small” for a micro wedding during the Coronavirus pandemic, this bride goes all out with three wedding dresses, each for a portion of her day.

Charming Chesapeake Bay Intimate Wedding Inspiration

There’s something special about Chesapeake Bay. Daily waterfront walks in this dreamy little destination lead the direction for an inspired shoot that’s not to be missed. Exquisitely designed by Cherry Blossom Weddings And Events, coastal blue elements gave the day a touch of nautical while blush blooms and a bevy of hanging candles made things feel decidedly elegant. You can feel the warmth and romance in the photography by Audra Wrisley. You won’t want to miss all the pretty little details in the full gallery.

From Cherry Blossom Weddings And EventsWe wanted to create a beautiful garden-style romantic wedding on the water. We love romance so this theme took the lead while adding in some preppy tones with a hint of nautical.

The invitation was designed in a chinoiserie direction with a coastal touch. All the elements in the suite were amazing including custom monogram, tri-folded menu cards with a pink ribbon and soft garden touches like the painted flowers and birds.

Candlelight and quicksand roses, blush rice flower, white veronica and ranunculus all helped to create the romantic feel we were looking for with the flowers. Adding in tapered candles, gold flatware and gold hanging lanterns created an upscale and elegant feel. Clear glassware and vases kept it all feeling very light, highlighting the other elements and the water view.

A Bright & Colorful Wedding In The Gardens of The Montalvo Arts Center

Last year taught us a lot, whether it was how to connect with people through a screen or how to perfect your banana bread recipe, but one thing we know for sure is that it taught us to appreciate time with our loved ones, no matter the size of the crowd. De Joy Photography and Atlas Design Studio teamed up to create this intimate styled shoot to show you all that love trumps all! From the stunning couple to overflowing floral installations by Laughing Gal Floral, this bright and colorful shoot at The Montalvo Arts Center showed us what love is all about.

From De Joy Photography2020 has been a year to discover what really matters in life. Whether you have lost a loved one, a job, a way of life, or only have had to adjust to the new normal in a COVID world, no one has been completely unaffected by the changes brought about with this tumultuous year. Social gatherings, and likewise weddings, have been severely impacted by the changes made necessary to help combat this dangerous pandemic. For many in the wedding industry, 2020 had started as one of the busiest wedding seasons ever, but by spring, the reality had shifted to something completely different. While many have canceled or postponed their events to future dates to avoid the immediate effects of social distancing, some have taken this as an opportunity to rediscover the true meaning of this special and sacred tradition.

For this styled shoot, De Joy Photography and Atlas Design Studio teamed up to create an incredible micro-wedding to help broadcast what can be possible when you fill your room not with hundreds of guests, but with joy, love, and acceptance.

To set the stage, the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga California became the ideal venue with its lush gardens and Mediterranean architecture. The approach to this shoot was to be fun and elegant by including color and freedom in the floral designs, DIY bar, tabletop settings, and attire. Our brides were prepped in the Villa’s Solarium and then joined together on one of the grand verandas in the shadow of stunning arched windows and columns. The ceremony in the Italianate Garden was intimate whimsical, enabling a true sharing of love with close friends.

For papery, Heart Paper Soul had provided feminine and elegant details for the invitations and seating chart. Our models Adaeze and Vigilant were radiant in their gowns provided by Epiphany Boutique. Lisa Teller created a natural hair and makeup look to accent their already overpowering beauty. For the ceremony site, Laughing Gal Floral created a stunning, non-traditional deconstructed floral arch installation.

After the ceremony, the brides the guests relaxed on beautiful lounge furniture provided by One True Love Vintage Rentals while enjoying the bar area provided by Venus Spirits. The signature drinks were a Paloma Libre and a Gin and Tonic. A truly unique seating chart was adorned with florals and placed for guests to see. Hensley Event Resources provided a stunning Greystone dining table and all the tabletop settings to create a romantic setting for an intimate experience. A white watercolor confection by Tart + Tin Cakes was made using the did-dyed rice paper technique along with rice paper florals and hints of gold leaf.

Our setting took place at The Greenhouse at a new venue The Ivy Rose Barn located in the beautiful countryside of Virginia.

Our ceremony was setup at the front entrance of the greenhouse. A full floral arch served not only as a beautiful and dreamy alter but also a gorgeous welcome to your guests.. Each floral bloom from Love Blooms was thoughtfully planned to coordinate with our design.

A European Inspired Shoot at Stone Mountain Estates in the Calabasas Mountains With 180 Degree Views!

With limited travel going on these days, XO Kate Events is bringing a touch of Tuscany to Southern California with this inspiration shoot at Stone Mountain Estates. Wanting it to feel like an intimate dinner, rather than a large wedding (which we can all appreciate these days,) the styled table wasn’t overly decorated allowing you to enjoy the thought-out details like the stunning tableware and variety of florals by Jovial Floral Co. Check it out below to see how Anya Kernes Photography the magic and see how even the groom snagged a couple of pics!

From XO Kate EventsSince 2020 has banished any hopes of traveling to new places, we thought we would bring Tuscany to the Calabasas mountainside. Tucked away in the Santa Monica mountains sits Stone Mountain Estates, LA’s newest outdoor venue, boasting 180-degree views of rolling hills and the perfect backdrop for our European inspired shoot.

We wanted the design to be not only effortless but approachable. An overstuffed, formal table was going to take away from the overall vibe of the shoot and we wanted it to feel more like a chic, fabulous intimate dinner for 6 vs a full-scale event. The perfect setting for intimate ceremonies right now.

The design was monochromatic with a light Acacia wood charger paired with a White Jono Pandolfi Dinner plate and a French Grey Heath Ceramics salad plate, all from Casa de Perrin. Setting the table with the Stonewash Tuscany tablecloth and matching napkins (Luxe Linen) allowed the smaller details on the table like the vintage salt and pepper crystal bowls and white + silver flatware have little design moments of their own.

Smaller details were key to our overall design. We wanted to highlight and style smaller elements as these are what we are seeing more of as intimate weddings become our new normal in 2020. From hand calligraphed boutonniere tags from Letter and Ink to the invitation suite providing a platform for mass incarceration (the couple requested a donation to the Equal Justice Initiative in lieu of a traditional gift) felt fitting given the complexities we have had to face this year.

Keeping with the theme of Tuscany meets Calabasas, Jovial florals paired freeform centerpieces filled to the brim with olive branches and whisper garden roses. Tiny ikebana vases dotted either side of the main centerpiece which created unique, individual vignettes within the tablescape.

We wanted to play with the fashion aspect of the shoot by providing our couple with two full looks. We started the shoot with our bride in a beautiful one-shouldered floral embroidered gown from Anna Campbell and styled our groom in a classic Tan “Summer Suit”. We kept the accessories light as we didn’t want an overly styled couple – again, effortless. As the sun began to set over our Tuscan landscape, we had our bride slip into a backless slip gown from Flora Bridal and our groom in a fitted black turtleneck and olive green blazer.

Bridgerton Fans Need to See This Inspired Editorial at Chateau St. Jean Winery

If you haven’t already seen Bridgerton on Netflix… stop everything you’re doing, grab some popcorn and binge all 8 episodes right this minute! If you need any convincing, it’s narrated by Julie Andrews… need we say moreIf you have already seen it and you’re just as obsessed as we are, then today’s wedding inspiration from Milk Events is right up your alley! Think modern Jane Austen vibes with a muted color scheme of blush pink, sage and gold. Trust us when we say the full gallery is a total must-see – all taken by Ether & Smith!

From Ether & Smith… Inspired by Jane Austen and English gardens (and the show, Bridgerton!), Candice of Milk Events designed an editorial that embodied pastel tones and old-world charm at Chateau St. Jean Winery. Set in wine country of Kenwood, CA which is the heart of Sonoma County, this editorial brings a charming European estate during Spring to Sunny California.

Lush gardens and overgrown ivy was the perfect setting for an intimate getaway and great alternative for couples changing venues from Europe to something state-side! A beautiful nook with arched windows was the setting for the ceremony. The steps leading to where the couple would exchange vows are adorned with lush greenery, and the bride wearing the most romantic old-world gown with long elegant sleeves stands gracefully at the top.

The cocktail area where guests and the couple enjoys mingling is in the garden maze. Tall hedges surround the area, with trees providing shade, and grassy lawns to picnic, lounge, and mingle on. Guests are then ushered to another intimate alcove. Thick dense ivy hugging the walls makes guests feel like they’re walking into a secret garden. A table with a lively yet soft shade of green linen, pastel florals, pops of lilac, candles, and fresh pears await them. After dining with their favorite people, the couple cuts the wedding cake decorated with delicately pressed flowers and ends the night dancing under the starry sky.

Set Sail for a Boston Harbor Wedding on a Boat You Won’t Soon Forget

If your vision of a perfect wedding day looks a lot like Beth and Neil’s nuptials from He’s Just Not That Into You, then prepare to embark on a great love affair with today’s Boston Harbor sailboat ceremony from Kate Murtaugh Events! The darling duo tied the knot at sea, on a breathtaking boat made only more beautiful by Beach Plum Floral‘s creations. Grab your Sperrys and head on over to the full gallery of inspo – all taken by Stephanie Vegliante Photography.

From Kate Murtaugh Events Design… Andrew and Mark exchanged heartfelt vows on the 10th anniversary of their first date on an unseasonably warm evening in Boston Harbor. With COVID-19 forcing them to make plans on a more intimate level, they ultimately decided to make the most of it and make the day as unique and beautiful as it could be despite the circumstances. These sharp-dressed grooms chose to celebrate with just the two of them in a romantic sail in Boston Harbor surrounded by moody fall blooms and the love of their friends and families from afar. The couple worked with The Mainstay Collective, an heirloom elopement offering in New England founded and ran by myself, Kate Murtaugh Events & Design, to help bring their breathtaking elopement to life.

The sailing charter took place on Classic Sail Boston’s Captiva, captained by David Puett, who also served as the ceremony officiant. Beach Plum Floral designed and planned their intricate and locally grown floral boat installation, emphasizing the colors as they faded in vibrancy and tone from the bow to the stern. It was important for the couple to enjoy some bubbles and bites following their vows, so we placed a heavy emphasis on creating a comfortable sitting area styled to perfection. Buck and Bloom masterfully created a grazing board as a perfect accompaniment. Stephanie Vegliante Photography and LBB Member, Willow Tree Films captured the beauty of the day from start to finish, documenting every important detail for Andrew, Mark, and their families to enjoy for years to come. As one of the grooms, Andrew, was departing the boat at the end of the evening, he exclaimed, ‘This is better than I could have imagined or planned.” The overall experience of planning Andrew and Mark’s elopement has easily been a silver lining amidst the pandemic’s heartbreak. It was heartwarming and inspiring, and we are grateful and honored that our clients’ looked to our entire vendor team to help make this unforgettable experience come to life in such a beautiful way.

From the grooms… Almost five years ago, Andrew popped the question off the coast of Positano, Italy with some of our closest friends after a week-long vacation. We never envisioned that our engagement would be so long, but our lives shifted drastically with a move across the country. Going into 2020 we knew this was the year to finally make it all happen. What we didn’t know was where the world would be by the fall of the year. Through many conversations with family and friends, we decided to shift gears and planned to elope in October on the tenth anniversary of our first date. What we were able to plan was completely beyond anything we could have imagined. Kate and her team were instrumental in providing us with a safe and unimaginably romantic day to celebrate our relationship with a ceremony aboard the Captiva sailboat in the Boston Harbor. From the unprecedented New England weather to the wildly imaginative florals, our wedding day was absolute perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to commit our lives to one another.

A Neutral Color Palette Of Your Dreams For This Winter Elopement At The Revery LA!

A neutral color palette is my type of color palette and this one in particular mixed with the contrast of soft florals in an industrial-style setting at The Revery LA is about to get your wheels turning when it comes to your wedding day details! RMBO Collective created a thoughtful and intimate elopement shoot to remind couples to be inspired by love, even in a small setting. Heather Kincaid captured the beautiful couple, the stunning lighting, and the whimsical florals by Ellamah.  Take a look below, and I promise you, this is one you’re going to want to save.

From RMBO CollectiveOur vision was to create an intimate, thoughtful wedding scenario for a post-COVID world. We stripped away the fanfare of weddings of the past in favor of the intimate moments for the couple to share, like getting ready together, sharing a meal, cutting their wedding cake, enjoying their first dance, toasting to their union.

The design aesthetic is a study in contrasts: bringing softness into a hard space, letting light dance in the shadows, and creating joy amidst the challenges of our present.

We envisioned a sleek, minimal, refined take on a joyous, intimate urban elopement and The Revery LA provided the perfect backdrop. We focused on a neutral color palette with faded winter hues of sand, bone, and shades of soft grey. Endlessly talented Heather Kincaid captured the contrast of the brightness and the shadows of the space so beautifully.

The dramatic fringe curtain installation set an ethereal tone while creating a soft translucent divider to bring intimacy to the large studio. Geometric shapes form lines to arcs and circles make multiple appearances from the dining chairs to the stunning paper goods to the cake to the flat lay detail styling.

The stationery tells the elopement story to the couple’s loved ones, who would be celebrating and wishing the brides well from afar. Lotus and Ash masterfully designed a suite for this unique style of celebration and allowed guest participation in a thoughtful way in lieu of being physically present.

Ellamah’s lush, whimsical floral installation surrounding the area and dining table added softness to the hard space. A collection of hurricane candles added a soft, romantic glow to this late winter afternoon.

The brides’ unique styles showed up through careful fashion choices. We selected interestingly detailed dresses and accessories from Lovely Bride LA which were expertly styled by A Stitch in Time Bridal. Each bride felt distinctive, yet they blended as a pair. We entrusted the incredible glam team, Fiore Beauty, to create a fresh and natural hair and makeup look to complement the airy and sleek vibe.

Greystone Table had the perfect neutral tabletop items to match the linear design concept.

The ladies enjoyed many intimate moments from a quick makeup touch up in the dressing room to a toast at dinner to an intimate cake cutting moment and first dance together.

This year has been full of dark and trying times, but we hope this styled editorial makes couples feel inspired by love, hopeful for the future and comforted to see what magic can be created in a small, intimate setting.

A Cherry Blossom-Inspired Spring Wedding at Pippin Hill You Just HAVE to See

If you know SMP, you know we’re biggg fans of Pippin Hill Farm – and today’s wedding planned by Just A Little Ditty might just be our favorite one yet. Coral charm peonies from Southern Blooms by Pat’s Floral Designs, floral bridesmaid dresses from Jenny Yoo and the sweetest couple of all time, I mean… can you even blame us?! If you’re looking for some inspiration to get you in the spirit of Spring, look no further. Lucky for us Rebecca Yale was there to capture every can’t-miss detail of their day – head on over to the full gallery to watch the magic unfold!

From Rebecca Yale PhotographyMechelle and Julia were married in late April at Pippin Hill in Charlottesville, VA. Mechelle is originally from Florida and Julia from Maryland and they’ve lived all over the world together, including a 2 year stint in Norway, so choosing a wedding venue was difficult, but they fell in love with the rolling hills of Virginia wine country. April is peak cherry blossom season so they decided to embrace the beautiful bloom and let it serve as inspiration for the design of the day.

Rock Paper Scissors made a custom crest using the bride’s initials and a wreath of cherry blossoms, echoing the infinity circle altar that served as their ceremony backdrop and the hoops of cherry blossoms over the head table and dance floor in the granary. The custom crest was used on the save the date, programs, menus, cocktail napkins and was even engraved onto their custom ring box and made into a sticker on their wedding favors (homemade fudge by Mechelle using her late grandmothers recipe, placed inside mugs with drawings of the two cities they’ve lived in together, Austin and Oslo).

The brides opted for a first look, but wanted it to feel a little different so decided to stand back to back to each other and hold hands so they could be close the first time they saw each other. Some other fun details of note were Mechelle’s ready-to-wear black and white Monique Lhuillier Gown and mismatched printed bridesmaids dresses from Jenny Yoo. The brides’ wrote their own vows in custom vow books, which combined their cherry blossom crest with a silhouette of one of their favorite photographs taken on top of a fjord in Norway during their engagement session.

They also used the same silhouette on the back of their cake later in the evening, which they cut out in the courtyard surrounded by their friends all holding sparklers. Mechelle and Julia honored their beloved late dog, Huck, with a photo of him on her bouquet and drawing of him on the back of each of their vow books. The brides loved the outdoor patio area of Pippin and wanted to take advantage of it as much as possible so in addition to cocktail and cake cutting they opted to have their first dance out there under the string lights before inviting their guests in to eat.

We Think You’ll Agree That This Might Possibly Be The Coolest Rooftop Venue in NYC!

Looking for that one of a kind venue with unreal views to say your I Do’s? Look no further than the 620 Loft and Garden in NYC, a hidden rooftop gem on top of Rockefeller Center with stunning views of the city and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Bashful Captures put together this stunning, yet incredibly cool inspiration shoot with two beautiful brides in Amsale bridal gowns and some of the most gorgeous florals I have ever seen by Designs by Ahn. Perfectly planned by DM Events, this shoot is a dream from the first detail to the last. Take a look below and check out the full gallery to see all of the magic!

From Bashful CapturesAs I was envisioning an inspirational shoot, I wanted to create a wedding that felt regal and elegant with beautiful Fall colors. Our shoot took place at 620 Loft and Garden, which is a hidden rooftop venue on top of Rockefeller Center with an amazing view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It was a perfect venue for our shoot and it is also an amazing place for a micro wedding.

The two brides wore Amsale dresses from their new collection and I wanted to bedazzle them with beautiful earrings and hair accessories from Jennifer Behr. I especially loved the crown that one of the brides wore because it was a complete look that I originally envisioned my bride to be. I always love a balanced look that’s not overly done, so clean eye makeup with bright lips was a perfect ensemble.

Designs by Ahn created a stunning arch and tablescape that felt unique and elevated. Katie Fischer‘s stationeries are so elegant and timeless, and the cake by Sarah & Simon was just a piece of art! The texture and the handmade florals on the cake were just jaw-dropping.

Intimate And Endearing Affair At Greencrest Manor

Set in the sprawling gardens of Greencrest Manor, this intimate celebration is sure to steal your heart. The incredibly talented team at Modern Day Collective worked with Kaylee and Lane to create a heart-centered day overflowing with love. Each detail is more beautiful than the last, from the bride’s father officiating the ceremony to the family style meal that made dinner feel even more personal. Clary Pfeiffer Photography’s unparalleled imagery is equal parts tender and touching. Fall in love with all the pictures in the full gallery.

From the bride and groom… We knew going into it that we would need to have a smaller wedding due to COVID, and it ended up being perfect. Not only was it so much easier to pay attention to the details while planning, but it was also so much more enjoyable on the day of — we were able to connect with everyone who came in a way that was much more meaningful.

One of my favorite memories of the day was probably the ceremony itself. My dad officiated our wedding, so it was very special to both Lane and I, and personal in a way that everyone could understand. It is definitely a memory I’ll cherish forever.

Because we planned a smaller wedding, I knew that I wanted an intimate dinner to be the main feature of our reception. Modern Day Collective helped bring that idea to life, and set up two long tables that our guests shared, while our caterer The Everyday Chef and Wife prepared a family-style meal that made the dinner even more personal.

Sustainable Micro-Wedding Inspiration at Margi Farm in Athens, Greece

Today’s heavenly editorial is all about how to pull off an organic, sustainable micro-wedding with an elevated aesthetic. With its ivy adorned farmhouse, lavender lined entrance and epic olive grove backdrop – Mosaïque Event Design knew Margi Farm was the perfect location to bring their vision to life. The bride stunned in a Maria Konidi number we’ll be dreaming about for days and paired it with floral adorned hat made pretty by Comme ça – Fleurs & Décor. To see how it all came to life, check out the full gallery of details, all taken by Adrian Wood Photography!

From Mosaïque Event DesignA micro wedding inspiration for all hopeless romantics, beautifully captured by photographer Adrian Wood. My vision for this editorial shoot was provincial charm and romance whilst showcasing the art of sustainable, stylish, organic, intimate wedding design. This approach to weddings has been my passion for several years, but now, with this strange new COVID19 reality and recommendations for smaller outdoor gatherings,  it is definitely the right time to remind the world that Greece, with its unique and diverse geography, climate and alfresco cultural lifestyle, is the ideal choice for couples looking for intimate affairs and cozy micro-weddings focused on guest experience.

The rural grounds of The Margi Farm in Athens, provided the perfect scenery for my vision. A small charming estate with a beautiful farmhouse covered with ivy, a driveway lined with sweet lavender and an olive grove as a backdrop. The styling was built upon elements that complimented the organic nature of the farm. The ceremony was framed with an enchanting installation of a fireplace brimming with ivy, candles and lush florals whilst the tablescape was designed to present an elevated farmhouse aesthetic. Blush linen paired with a selection of fine art de la table in white and grey tones and gorgeous centrepieces in dusty blush and smokey mauve hues created a beautiful intimate dinner setting with an organic feel. The bride seduces with a stunning lace gown by Maria Konidi and a heavenly arranged bridal bouquet by Comme Ça – Fleurs & Décor.

Ioanna Karkantelou created the perfect countryside bridal look keeping the makeup soft, glowing and natural. She waved the hair and kept it down for the first look with the straw hat, whilst the second look was a great little bridal ponytail. The groom’s attire was stylish and classic, wearing a fitted black tux , suspenders and a bow-tie by Christakis-Athens.

The paper goods, designed and produced by Atelier Invitations, were a feast for the eyes. Naturally elegant lettering and delicate hand drawings created a graceful wedding suite with an organic charm. Cinematographer, Nikos Dimou created a magical film that effortlessly captures the serene feeling of a summer love affair.

From Elizabeth Gopal of East Made Co… As soon as Madeline Trent contacted me about putting together a brand editorial that was European-inspired, fashion-forward, and basically the stuff of our romantic dreams, I knew that Anderson House in Washington, DC would provide the perfect backdrop. With postponed weddings and missed inspiration trips to Europe this year, we’ve been researching all of the gorgeous spots in the US that can provide a similar look and feel.

Inspired by the chic city bride who appreciates tradition and heirlooms, we styled and sourced the finest vintage diamond engagement rings and featured a handmade paper suite with luxe gold foil calligraphy by Curved and Co.

The table design is the epitome of luxury, with gold metallic linen, multiple candelabras, lush neutral florals, and exquisite gold tabletop selections from Maison de Carine. The grand finalé was a champagne toast with cake by Jisoo Cake Design– making it the perfect intimate wedding day indeed.
