Bride Surprises Grandmother by Using 50 Year Old Cake Topper!

Summer might be my favorite season for weddings, but I have to admit, there's nothing quite as pretty as bridal portraits in the fall. Case in point? These two lovebirds with their happy smiles in the crunchy leaves. Their entire day is filled with the very loveliest of details, from the navy bridesmaids to the 50-year-old cake topper the Bride surprised her grandmother with (how sweet?). From Mekina Saylor... Katie + Alex’s wedding day was something of a fairytale. The Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey was the perfect place for these two to tie the knot. After sharing a loving first look they walked hand in hand through the tree-lined sidewalks and fields full of orange and burgundy leaves. They calmed one another while at the same time Katie effortlessly fell into Alex’s arms which quite honestly was so romantic. The chandelier filled Conservatory was drop dead gorgeous for both their ceremony and reception. Guests shared tears of joy and later on joined the newlyweds on the dance floor for an epic night of memories. The best part of the night was when Katie surprised her grandmother with the same cake toppers she had used at her wedding day over 50 years ago! Their day was perfect. It was elegant and beautiful and filled with so much happiness!
