A Story of Hope and Healing

I tried really hard to get through this post without crying, and I’ll have you know I made it through a whole ten words of the description below from Del Sol Photography before the tears started to fall. And then I just couldn’t help myself. This gorgeous Bride lost the love of her life 52 days before their wedding, and writing that sentence just sends shivers up my spine. But this beautiful shoot is so much more than a collection of gorgeous images, it is her way of letting go and finding her new happily every after. Trust me, it’s a story you’ll definitely want to take some time to read today…

From Del Sol PhotographyEarlier this year Janine suffered a monumental loss when her fiancé passed away 2 months before their wedding day. To deal with her grief she decided to create a memorial photo-shoot. The images and video story we created together were an incredibly cathartic and emotional experience for us both. The experience allowed Janine to rediscover her femininity and open her eyes once more to the beauty of the world.

My name is Matt Adcock and this is the first time I’ve been inspired to do anything like this in my 10 year career as a destination wedding photographer. After I heard Janine’s story, I really wanted to do what I could to create a magical adventure for her. She told me that she felt a strong connection with the element of water, for its cleansing and purifying qualities and the sense of freedom she felt while swimming. I knew that the natural aquatic wonders of the Riviera Maya would offer great comfort and would be the perfect vehicle for her healing process.

I began to develop a plan, one that would involve a symbolic and ceremonial liberation from grief. The shoot was designed to have several points that would serve as memory markers for her, the balloon release and the falling into the cenote both representing elements of letting go of the past and opening herself to the future.

This is by far the most emotional I have ever been while working on a project. I was brought to tears when I started to bring the story to life in the editing room. I am humbled to have been able to meet and work with Janine and am inspired by her words and her courage in sharing her message of hope. I would like to thank Zuko and our friends at AM Resorts and Dreams Tulum for helping us bring this idea to life.

I laughed and cried with Janine. Her spirit and energy are contagious and I really hope her story touches someone else going through a tough time. Janine had the courage to express herself in a way others can’t even imagine.

After the shoot, we interviewed Janine. She shared these thoughts with us:

From Janine…When I finally decided that I wanted to keep my wedding dress and not sell it because of what it means to me, I started to Google “photography” and “underwater bride”. Del Sol Photography came up more than once so I finally looked at their website. I was in awe of their work so I said to myself, “What are you going to lose? Just go for it. So I filled out the “contact us” part of their website and they got back to me in 24 hours.

My expectation was to find a certain closure and to have a photo shoot of my dress in a different way that not your average bride would even think of doing. I wanted to be free and I wanted to do something different.

The day of the shoot I woke up at Dreams Tulum very excited, but I was also very nervous. My dress was huge and I didn’t know what to expect while I was in the water. I had no idea what a cenote was. But I was also curious to see what Matt had in store for me. He ran a bunch of ideas past me and so I was eager to find out how the day was going to go.

This day was very emotional. At the end of the day I felt so accomplished and I felt more alive than I have ever felt since May 1st. I really felt that Johnny was smiling down at me and finally giving me closure that I can live my life in a positive way, but never forgetting why I was here. I want to move on and explore the world. I want to meet people who I can share that with. After the shoot I felt like all this was possible.

If I could reach out to anyone suffering from a loss, I would tell them this. Listen to YOUR heart! You are the most important person and only YOU can help yourself. What I experienced isn’t for everyone but I do want people to know that you are not alone in all this, if you have family that ask if they can help SAY YES! You are grieving and you need this time to really think about what you are going to do next. You have the right to cry and you have the right to be alone (but not too much alone) If you are close to family or friends lean on them. Also, try something new! When I did this photo shoot I had the best time I actually had fun for the 1st time in 3 month since Johnny passed away. Reach out for help and never apologize for your actions because you are strong and you will get through this!

From Figlewicz PhotographerWe first met Jessie and Sean on the beach at Terranea to photograph them getting engaged. I know I have said this before, but we LOVE shooting proposals! We LOVE being there for that first moment. We LOVE hiding in the bushes and we LOVE that look the girl gives her man! It’s so candid and real. By the time the wedding rolls around we feel very connected to their story. Sean and Jessie are so special to us! They are a beautiful couple and they love each other so much. We were thrilled when they asked us to fly to Puerto Vallarta for their wedding. We went a few days before the wedding and we had a blast. We got to know everyone and enjoyed watching this family love each other.

They chose Villa Romance for their wedding venue. All their guests were so excited to finally see this secret location. It was perfect… private beach covered in shells, aqua pool, and a fantastic view! Everyone was in heaven! Jessie is a nanny and all her kids flew down to be in the wedding. The whole team from Dazzling Details did an amazing job at making all the kids feel very welcome. They even had a playhouse filled with toys!

Tropical Cabo San Lucas Beach Wedding

When the getting ready shots include a Bride sporting sparkly earrings once worn by Marilyn Monroe as her ‘something old’, you know the wedding that follows is going to be fabulous as ever. Set that wedding in a gorgeous designation like Cabo San Lucas, put Sweet Pea Events behind the planning and sprinkle it with coral and turquoise, and it reaches a whole new level. Sara & Rocky Photography tagged along for all the fun and thanks to them, you can too.

From the beautiful Bride…This intimate wedding in Cabo with 30 guests was all about family & friends. Most of the guests stayed at the venue, Villa Turquesa, and it was a week-long celebration overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The groom is a hockey player for the St. Louis Blues and the bride is a sweet southern belle from Dallas.

-The bride’s earrings were worn by Marilyn Monroe, and were a gift from the bride’s father and step-mom as her “something old”.

-The groom’s daughter, Layna, made the bride the blue heart you see in the photos – that was her “something blue”.

– Seashells were used as twist on the traditional boutonniere.

– The seahorse was one of our main design elements and subtly incorporated through the décor.

-All of the linens and pillows were hand-sewn and custom-made just for this wedding.

A Mini Guide to Isla de Mujeres, Mexico

If you could create the perfect romantic getaway, it would probably include a beach location, authentic cultural cuisine, and a variety of different activities. I don’t think you could ask for too much more, except maybe a really good margarita when you arrive. This little island right off the coast of Cancun has all of that and more captured by Ariana B Photography. Together with and her fiancé , they’re dishing their tips for a getaway to Isla de Mujeres.

A MINI-GUIDE TO ISLA DE MUJERES

[dotted]

Places to Stay | All Inclusive Mia Reef Resort – walking distance to all the restaurants, bar and night life and private. Make sure to upgrade to an ocean view condo. For honeymoon type of stay and very secluded stay try, Casa De Los Suenos on the north part of the island is a boutique lodging with great restaurant, life music and amazing pool.

Places to Shop | The great part about Mexico, especially Isla Mujeres is that there is no need to go to actual stores, during your dining break or beach time people will try to sell you all kinds of handmade nick-nack’s, the same items you will find in a store but for much cheaper price. The island also boasts a great Caribbean vibe in the downtown area, perfect for an afternoon wander through the stores.

Places to Eat | For a great live music, ocean view and send between your toes kind of dining try Bahia Tortuga Restaurant, the bar is very reasonable for any wallet. For a bit more high end and amazing hand crafted drinks I recommend, Casa De Los Suenos Restaurant,  which ocean view and music as well. Mix it up with city dining at Oscar’s Mexican Grill

Things to Do | Even tho Isla Mujeres is a tiny island, it has plenty of activities from swimming with dolphins and sharks, to under water sculpture gardens or exploring old ruins. Don’t forget, the best way to go around the island is in a golf cart!

Must Visit | Head back to the main land to see Tortuga Playa, where you can hold baby turtles, start fish, crabs, sea Urchin for only $3. During summer months you can snorkel with giant Whale Sharks which migrate to the warm waters by Isla Mujeres. Playa Norte, is the best beach on the island with amazing snorkeling opportunities. For those that love to snorkel, MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) is an underwater sculpture garden by Jaime Gonzalez Cano – a one of a kind experience not to be missed.

Destination Wedding at Four Seasons Punta Mita

Everyone has a different aspect of their wedding with which they are particularly preoccupied. For some of us it’s the dress, the food, or the ceremony, and for some of us (raises hand) it’s the party. This is a HUGE day and I am a firm believer in an all-out celebration. Photographed by Jillian Mitchell, this Punta Mita bash is also totally gorgeous. You can see the whole pretty-packed fiesta right here in the gallery.

From the bride… Chris is super corporate America with a twist of hippie (since meeting me) and I’m totally a southern grown granola. Chris and I have always had a love hate relationship with Margaritas and Mexican food. Being from Texas, its our way of life – I don’t think there has been a week in our alomst 5 years together where we haven’t had Mexican food and Margaritas every Sunday – then come home for an afternoon siesta!

We didn’t want a big wedding at all – and we knew if we had a Houston wedding, it would have been a 500 person event. Chris and I are both SUPER laid back and easy going. We wanted our wedding to reflect our personalities and our favorite things: spending time with our friends and margaritas!

We chose Punta Mita – because we have friends who have houses there and we think its a beautiful, quaint little spot. We also didn’t want to ask our guests to fly more than 2 hours to our wedding destination. We wanted a resort that was killer, yet we wanted somewhere really fun for our guests to have a fun “vacation”. We didn’t want them to think they were traveling for a wedding. We wanted them to go on vacation – and happen to just go to a wedding during their trip!

We didn’t want to choose between our friends – so we decided we wouldn’t have a bridal/grooms party. We’ve both been in a ton of weddings and we agreed, its just too stressful and causes way too much drama. We agreed that our wedding was about two people: Chris and myself.

As far as vendors – I wanted to keep things super simple. Chris wore simple Bonobos blue pants (his favorite color) and a white linen shirt with his sleeves rolled up. I wanted him to feel comfortable, not stuffy. Shoes are always optional in our lives.. I absolutely hate wearing shoes. My dress, was Alvina Valenta purchased at Ivory Bridal Couture. I wanted a dress that was simple and reflected the beach – I didn’t want too poofy or fancy looking – because that’s not me. I didn’t wear shoes.

The food was simple: Mexican. The drinks were our favorite: Margaritas, Corona’s and Champagne with berries – we also had an open bar for our guests. We had tequila at each table – because why not? Our friends spent a ton of money coming to Mexico to party – we wanted to give them a party. I think we accomplished that!

Overall we had the best, most perfect wedding. People are STILL talking about it in Houston. It was wild, crazy, free spirited – just the way we wanted it.

Elegant Beach Wedding in Punta Mita, Mexico

Toes in the sand, gorgeous florals covering every nook and cranny, and chandeliers hanging from the trees. If that sounds like an absolute dream come true (and it totally does for me), then this wedding designed by Sea Of Dreams Weddings and captured by Joann Arruda is going to seriously make your day. It’s image after image of pure pretty, and you can see it all here.

From the Bride…Dave actually surprised me by popping the question on a freezing beach (I didn’t want to get out of the car!) in Martha’s Vineyard where we spend as much time as we can in our little home with our big dog.  Dave and I have been together for almost five years and as much as we both loved the Vineyard we both wanted 3 things, to get married on the beach, a small intimate wedding and a place to visit on our 5 year anniversary.  I 35 and Dave 45, have been to a lot of weddings and really wanted our wedding to be an experience shared and not rushed, a time where we remembered conversations, laugh’s and experiences outside of just the ceremony and reception, therefore we choose a long weekend extravaganza, with the actual wedding on December 7th in Punta Mita Mexico.  It was a difficult decision, as we knew many friends and family would not be able to make the trip but we also knew that they loved and supported us from whatever vantage point they were on that day and for our life together.

I never grew up wanting a big fancy dress and a big fancy wedding.  I actually never fanaticized about my wedding at all.  So when I was faced with the absolute fact we would have to come up some ideas it was a bit daunting, all the wedding magazines and websites!  Finally  I came across a picture of a chandelier hanging from a tree…and I fell in love.  I always wanted a big tree in my wedding since I had visited Jamaica’s Montego Bay’s Almond Tree beach bar back in college (with my BF/ now one and only bridesmaid) it always stuck with me, how cool a tree on the beach!  Dave loved the idea of The Tree of Life and I think this idea spoke to him also, which was great.  We didn’t want a formal wedding, but elements of shabby chic mixed with a crazy idea (Chandeliers hanging from tree’s) that just made it relaxed yet classy and comfortable (shoe’s off everyone!)

When you have a destination wedding you figure out pretty quickly that you can’t ship everything you want, and you can’t have everything you want so the crazy theme before stated, was somehow translated to our BRILLIANT wedding planner Yazmin via Pinterest.  On our site visit she had the most amazing chandeliers, we showed her pictures of flowers we loved and we wanted to incorporate succulents for greenery into the mix. We like different sized, colored antique looking glass vases, the simplicity of small details we craved such as luggage tags as place settings, first dance to sparklers, floating sky lanterns as a tribute to the wonderful grandmothers we both had and just basically how we wanted our wedding to be memorable to everyone in a different way, something that touched them and they would keep with them.  Our color was different shades of purples, pinks and creams however we didn’t really focus on that too much, ha Dave even forgot the Men’s ties…so luckily I had packed 4 of his purple ties and it all worked out just dandy.

We didn’t taste the cake before or see the actual flowers, we didn’t touch the linens or even give the DJ a real specified list of songs but somehow not one thing was done less than if I had done all of those things myself.  Now you might think, oh she’s the kind of bride who would go along with anything and be happy, not so my friend, not so.  I can tell you that I sent thousands of emails, had spreadsheets that almost divorced me before I was married and had ‘a few’ pages on pintrest so I was definitely into communicating what we wanted for our special day.

Oh and also, the days leading up to our wedding were magical spending time with family from Ireland and friends we hadn’t seen in years!  My ‘Husbands’ family had a bright and fun Mexican themed beach party for our welcome dinner the Friday night before for all our guest including a 12 piece Mariachi band that were out of this world and incredibly memorable.  We had a pool party on the Thursday afternoon to get the party started and show our appreciation for all of those who had traveled many many miles to be with us on our special day.
Our wedding and days leading up to it was a perfect celebration of who we are separately and who we are together. I wouldn’t change a thing (even the cigar roller who Dave snuck in the night before….sneaky cat.)

Fun Sayulita, Mexico Wedding

The best part about a destination wedding? It’s the very best vacation of your life and you get to share it with everyone you love. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a fun wedding, but fun might be the understatement of the century with this wedding from Kate Price Photography. I don’t know about you, but I may or may not (okay, I’m guilty) have started dancing in my seat as I made my way through this gallery!

From the Bride… Sayulita was on my husband and my radar from the second we got engaged. Both being born and raised in Seattle, and currently living in San Francisco, we loved the idea of our friends and family packing up to head somewhere sunny for a week of celebrating. Sayulita was our first vacation as a couple and a first vacation with both of our families, so it felt very natural to choose to get married there. Natural, ended up being an understatement.

From the second we arrived, we were blown away not only by our accommodations but how much our friends and family loved it. It was a non-stop party from the moment we arrived, to the day we hopped on the airplane home. The feeling of having everyone that’s important to us in the same beautiful property, drinking tequila, watching fireworks, eating late night burritos, and participating in what was the most epic dance party of all time is indescribable. Of course, none (and I mean NONE) of it would be possible without Yazmin our planner, and Kate our photographer to capture each amazing moment. As the Instagram photos say….#vivalaslogan.

Beachside Wedding in Cabo San Lucas

A last minute change in plans to exchange vows in Cabo as opposed to a country club back home proved to be the BEST decision ever. Spending 5 days beachside at Sunset Da Mona Lisa with their loved ones in tow, this couple had the wedding of their wildest dreams. Crafted by Florenta Flower Design and captured by Amanda Lloyd, you can catch all the details of their romantic getaway in the gallery here.

From the Bride… When we were first planning our wedding, we were planning for a beautiful country club that overlooked the Seattle skyline. We had sat down with the venue, had everything planned, contracts drawn and then a few days later, out of the blue, I asked my husband, “What do you think of Cabo? Let’s get married there!” Few weeks later after research, we decided on Cabo, told our families and started planning. We figured that with the amount of money that would be spent on a local wedding, we might as well spend it on a once in a lifetime trip with our family and closest friends.

Due to the beautiful setting of Sunset da Mona Lisa, we kept the ceremony decor very simple with just rose petals scattered along the aisle as well as a memorial vase and sign at the guest book table. The reception decor was more than I’d ever envisioned. I’d spent countless hours looking on various online sites and pieced together elements I liked about so many different set ups. I also ordered many things from Etsy and handmade many other things. Some of the most sentimental details were: My younger sister was my Maid of Honor and she made our cake toppers, my hair piece and sewed the blue heart onto my dress. I also had a locket tied to my bouquet of my late Grandfather who had passed 3 years earlier. The ring tied as well was the ring that my Dad first gave my Mom when they got married 33 years ago which had been a silver ring that my Dad spray painted gold at the time because they couldn’t afford a gold band. Lastly, I wore on my right hand a peridot ring that was my great-grandparents. My great grandfather gave it to my great grandmother when they were dating 60 years ago and my Mom passed it down to me on my wedding day.

There were several moments of the day that stand out the most. After being widowed 7 years prior, remarrying was a big leap into a new start at life. When we were planning our wedding, we were having a hard time deciding who we could have perform the ceremony. We asked one of my best friends, a fellow military widow and founder of a non-profit for military widows, to get ordained and marry us. Having someone that has been apart of my life for 6 years and then apart of my ‘new’ life from the beginning marry us, was the most amazing feeling! I had 3 of my fellow military widows there with us to celebrate, who have been my closest friends through the past near decade.

Another moment was right before my dad walked me down the aisle. We were standing there all alone, he looked at me and said, “You ready for this?” with a big smile. Gave me a huge hug and we walked down the aisle for him to ‘give me away’. Another was during the reception, when both my older two children gave toasts to us. My 12 year old son, who was the co-Best Man, had fought me for months that he couldn’t speak at the dinner because he was too shy. He had worked with my younger brother that day to come up with a few jokes to say and it meant so much that he did that for us. My 10 year old daughter spoke very sweet words and made nearly everyone in attendance tear up.

Out of all the amazing memories we have now, I think one that stands out on a daily basis was our choice in photographers. Being a wedding photographer myself, my husband knew that photography was one of the most important details about the whole wedding. Having an amazing photographer capture our special day exactly like it was and also being privileged to call her one of my best friends, it doesn’t get better than that.

When looking back on everything, we truly had the most amazing wedding that we could’ve ever had and we wouldn’t change anything at all. When you think about it, how many people can say that they spent 5 days in a tropical location with their closest friends and family?

Elegant Cabo Wedding at One & Only Palmilla

Destination weddings like this at the One & Only Palmilla are my dream come true. With the perfect amount of elegance, gorgeous florals from Elena Damy, and that Mexican flair we all love, every image from Sara Richardson feels like a virtual vacation. And you can get lost in all the lovely here.

From the Bride…When my groom, Daniel, proposed to me, we knew pretty soon afterward that we wanted to have a destination wedding. Looking at dates, we settled on January 4th, and we could think of nothing better than escaping the cold of winter and trading in our sweatshirts for shorts. Los Cabos is truly a magical place, and after having visited it that summer, we knew it would be a perfect location to have a wedding. When we broke this idea to our family and friends, they were thrilled to have a wedding that doubled as a beach vacation. While planning our wedding, it was important to me to infuse it with Mexican culture; I really did not want to have a wedding with a country club feeling in Mexico. The invitations were lacey and reminiscent of papel picado, a type of Mexican folk art. While traveling, I became enamored with Milagros: a type of charm used in Latin America and some European countries as religious petitions to saints and God and had them printed in the background of our programs and used them as escort cards. For flowers, I went with bright-colored ones that contrasted with my bridesmaids’ black dresses. When people would ask me about my colors, I think they thought I was crazy when I answered that they were red, orange, green, white and black. My other favorite details were my dress, the flower lasso and the mariachi band for cocktail hour. All in all, I can truly say that my wedding was so beautiful that it felt like we were in a dream. When carrying out a destination wedding, you give up a lot of control; thank goodness I had the wonderful and capable Arianna O’Campo as my wedding planner. She is so down-to-earth and understands your vision and executes it wonderfully. In terms of photography I fell in love with Sara Richardson’s soft and warm photos when I was looking for a photographer, and I honestly believe that she is one of the most talented photographers out there. It was an honor and joy to work with her and her husband. We are in love with our photos and will cherish them forever. Looking back, we feel so lucky to have been celebrated and supported by so many loved ones and friends. This day wouldn’t have been the same without you all. Thank you for sharing in our joy!

Laid Back Wedding Love at Sayulita’s Villa Amor

When the getting-ready shots include a little dip in a rooftop infinity pool, a few kick-butt yoga moves and cocktails? Well you know what follows is going to be ah-mazing. With Jonas Seaman behind the lens, DIYs made pretty by this fun-loving duo, topped off with a bit of bougainvillea and a whole lotta love, it’s easy to get lost in the gorgeously relaxed vibes of this soiree in Sayulita.

From Jonas Seaman… I shot this really beautiful wedding in Mexico last year. It was such a spectacular day. Hannah & Tim had so many little cool DIY touches that they brought in from the states: boxes of nick-knacks, owl figurines, bird cages, personal photos, and signs for the table settings. It was such a beautiful day all around.

From the beautiful Bride… The tiny surfer town has zero pretense and is super laid back. It also happens to be stunningly beautiful so the wedding decor was built in! We knew that no matter what snafus may or may not occur, people were going to fall in love with the town as much as we did.

Tim has eight musically inclined aunts and uncles who write and perform a song unique to each bride and groom in their family. The one they performed for us was to the tune of a Johnny Cash song, and was one of the most memorable moments of the weekend. Here is a link to the song.

The napkins were easy, affordable, and fun. We went to a local fabric store, bought several different patterns, pinking shears and voila! Instant color. We acquired a random selection of tins and vases from local vintage stores and yard sales which made for the wonderfully eclectic table setting. We had many a wine-fueled gathering with our craftiest friends. Without them, many of the garlands and other details would never have gotten done.

The bride and groom should each pick the one thing that is most important to them. For me, it was photography. For Tim, the music and bar. On everything else, we decided to cut corners. Instead of pricy flower arrangements, we opted for minimal wildflowers.  Instead of a fancy sit down meal, we opted for a buffet which people loved because it was less formal and stuffy. Instead of an unnecessarily expensive cake, we chose to have churros which were delicious!

Instead of spending one evening with your closest friends and family, you get to spend a whole weekend or longer. Guests would run into each other in town, and many new friendships were formed. Our guests came from their hotel after a day at the beach which helped the mood immensely and took the pressure off us to make everything perfect. We found Mexico, and Sayulita and general to be very welcoming and friendly to us. Plus, our wedding day was bookended by so many additional memories!

Destination Mexico Wedding at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta

Tucked in this gallery is image after image of pure destination perfection. Between the gorgeous florals, the stunning styling by the Bride herself (who happens to be the talent behind Savvy Events, LLC), and lovely images by Nicole Lennox – this gallery is a virtual vacation in itself. Get lost in all the lovely here.

From Nicole LennoxDeNeitra and Lawrence met in high school, but their love story didn’t begin until years later when they reconnected on Facebook. After dating for a few years, Lawrence proposed by serenading his future bride-to-be on the beach with a song he had written.

Their wedding weekend took place at the stunning Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta. DeNeitra, an experienced event planner made sure that the decor and details throughout the wedding day and the entire weekend were simply beautiful and perfectly executed.

From the Bride…Prior to Lawrence proposing we knew we wanted a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We took our first vacation to Puerto Vallarta in 2011 and totally fell in love with the city, the people and the culture. The day Lawrence proposed I emailed Dreams Puerto Vallarta, now Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta to inquire on availability for our selected wedding date. Just like that a whirlwind 8 months of planning ensued.

As a Los Angeles based wedding and event planner and owner of Savvy Events, LLC I knew exactly how to approach the planning process and moved quickly to solidify a theme and a dream team of vendors. Having worked with countless couples over the years I knew that I wanted our wedding to be true to Lawrence and I and uniquely our own. An intimate affair filled with family, friends and love. I wanted our guests to not just attend a wedding but to have an experience. The weekend was filled with incredible festivities that encouraged relaxation, rejuvenation and, most importantly FUN. From our welcome dinner to bon fires on the beach and fun excursions; our guests had the most amazing time.

When it came to designing our dream wedding I did what I tell most of my brides to do – run over to Pinterest, create a secret board and start pinning your little heart out. I love vibrant yet soft colors and chose coral and teal with gold accents as our color palette. Lawrence is all about style and didn’t want me to see his wedding attire until the ceremony, so that was a fun spin on things. I had absolutely no clue what he would be wearing until I walked down the aisle. He looked amazing, as I knew he would.

I wanted our wedding day to be filled with wow moments. . . from the minute guests stepped on the sand for the ceremony and saw our handcrafted backdrop and hand-painted maracas to the moment they stepped into the reception and saw a sea of coral chair sashes and our breathtaking cake. Other wow moments included a same-day video edit we showed at the reception culminating with fire dancers leading guests to the gazebo area for a special and electrifying performance.

Our wedding was everything we ever wanted and so much more. After designing and coordinating dream weddings for other couple’s it was amazing to be on the other side. Being able to design a day filled with so much beauty, love and fun was exactly what Lawrence and I wanted. Mission accomplished!

Destination Mexico Wedding at Generations Riviera Maya

I treat gorgeous destination weddings like this one from Fondly Forever Photography like a little virtual vacation. I allow myself a little extra time to really get lost in all the lovely images and devour every pretty detail. Before I know it, I feel like I am there, with my toes in the sand listening to these two cuties say I do, and you can join me in the day dream right here.

From Fondly Forever PhotographyJeannie + Neal live in LA but wanted a destination wedding to celebration their big day. After touring around the east coast of Mexico, they decided on a brand new hotel in Riviera Maya called Generations. Jeannie is a makeup artist and not only did her makeup, but all of her bridesmaids makeup as well! She is one of the sweetest people I know and her smile radiated the entire day! The wedding ceremony took place in a small chapel right off the beach and the reception was in a pier over the water. I realize this wedding does not have as many details as some of the weddings you feature but I thought it might be a good fit for your destination blog.

From the Bride…What was your inspiration for the day/How did you make the day about the two of you?

– We wanted to have a simple, light-hearted, stress-free day surrounded by family and friends. At our ceremony, we wanted all our guests to be present with us and not worry about taking photos, so we decided to have an unplugged wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made. Everyone was in the moment with us and we felt so much love in the room. We wanted our vows to be meaningful, but I also knew that if we surprised each other with our own vows at the altar, I would cry and not be able to say my part. So in order to ease my nervousness, Neal and I decided to write our vows together and take turns saying each line to each other. I love that we started our marriage as a team.

What is your most memorable moment from the day?
– Looking out and seeing our closest friends and family all under one roof. Over the years, we’ve hung out with them individually and in small groups, but never all together in one place. That moment comes once in a lifetime and it made our hearts happy knowing that they all traveled there to celebrate with us.

– What DIY projects did you do for your wedding?
I wanted to stay away from DIY (aka stress) projects as much as possible, so I limited the DIY project to 1. We made our own fabric bouquets/boutonnieres from scratch. It was a long process filled with good times, laughter, and love – all my bridesmaids and my Man of Honor worked so hard on them, I’m so grateful.

Elegant Playa Del Carmen Wedding

Our dear editor Erin is off enjoying the beauties of Mexico, and as if I didn’t have enough reason to be jealous this little stunner has officially upped the ante. It’s everything you’d dream of in a destination wedding, and with Canteiro and 74 Events behind the scenes, it’s no wonder the day went off without a hitch. Prepare yourself for knot tying paradise, and have a look in the gallery from Emily Blake.

From The Bride…Our “Weekend del Amor” was incredible! We chose Mexico because of it’s jungles and beaches, food and people, and Maroma because of it’s beauty and soul. 44 of our closest friends and family stayed the weekend to relax on the beach and celebrate our love. Friday night we hosted a welcome fiesta for all of our guests, but beforehand the hotel had a surprise: releasing baby sea turtles back in to the wild. This was an incredible and moving experience. Saturday was the wedding at sunset- we had a Mayan ceremony-mariachi band at cocktail hour and dancing and dining under the stars. At a certain point it began to rain so we all went indoors to continue the dance party.

Destination Wedding at Dreams Los Cabos

Escaping to tropical paradise with the one you love is as good as it gets. Unless, of course, it involves a wedding celebration with all your dearest friends and family at Dreams Los Cabos. Then it’s EVEN better. That’s exactly how Howard and Suzanne planned their destination nuptials, and thanks to Florenta Flower DesignHana Chung Photography and a team of dream vendors, the day turned out to be one for the books.

From the Bride… Howard’s favorite color is turquoise and as a child I always loved the color orange. So when we decided to get married in Cabo, I thought the perfect color scheme for our wedding would be a seafoam green with a coral accent to go with the desert and the sea. After finding my dress, I knew I wanted a romantic vintage wedding filled with lace, roses and candle lights.

We choose to have a destination wedding in Cabo because of its surreal, crystal clear beaches and pure romance. Cabo gave us an excuse to celebrate our marriage over an extended vacation with our closest family and friends. Dreams Los Cabos made our wedding extra special by helping us host a welcome bonfire the night before our wedding and a Mexican themed night consisting of dancers and a mariachi band the night after our wedding.

One of the highlights from our wedding happened days later when we decided to do our own version of “trash the dress” by going horseback riding in our wedding attire. Cabo was a beautiful destination! We are so grateful to Dreams Los Cabos and all the vendors who made our wedding day one we will never forget.

Mexico Elopement with a Statement Orange Dress

While it would easy to talk about much I adore this bride’s alternative orange wedding dress – which, trust me, I could do ALL day – there’s so much more to this story. It’s an impromptu elopement planned in just two weeks, and a true celebration of what love is all about. Have a read for the full story below, and don’t miss your peek at the gallery from Taryn Baxter.

From The Bride… Like our elopement, our love has been about living in the moment. My now husband, Paul, has been there for me through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, literally. Paul and I actually met in high school, and even went to prom together. But that was not when we fell in love. It was years later when we crossed paths on a beach that we found each other again. Despite a whirlwind of traveling apart – me in Australia, Fiji, Thailand and Europe over 3 years – him living abroad in Prague and then finishing up school in Canada – we never gave up on each other. We finally settled down in Denver,

Colorado and were engaged within three months of buying our first home. Right after we got engaged we knew we wanted to make it into an adventure. We originally planned on a big wedding of all our family and friends in the northern jungles of Thailand. However, only five months later I found myself undergoing multiple biopsies and breast cancer scares.

Although I was only 27, nearly all the females in my family had breast cancer at a young age. And that’s when I became a previvor of breast cancer. In January 2013 I had a prophylactic double mastectomy.

Paul supported me through everything and was my rock when I needed him the most. With our medical bills piling up we realized that we had to cancel our wedding in Thailand and look at different avenues. While it was a difficult time for us, it was a blessing in disguise for our wedding.

Having to cancel our large wedding made us focus on the important parts of getting married. I was sad to miss the experience of having a big wedding and a bit worried that I would regret it, but once I started to take the steps I remembered why we were getting married in the first place, which is a celebration of the love we had built together. And ironically as soon as we decided to elope was when the fun began and the stress and anxiety stopped.

We actually planned our elopement in two weeks. At the time of our planning my mom was vacationing in Hawaii and Paul’s mom was in Scotland. Both of us do not have fathers, so we have always known we would not have a large family presence. Only three days before the wedding I told my mom we would be eloping. Despite the short notice, walking her only daughter down the aisle was monumental to her and she booked the next flight down. Having her there meant more to me than I would ever know and it was a really big moment in our relationship.

Eloping became about us going on an adventure together and living in the moment. The location itself also became the inspiration. Zihuatanejo as a location was an easy decision. One of the reasons we chose Zihuatanejo is because the culture itself is about living in the moment – the locals are full of laughter and sharing happiness, having fun and relaxing. We also chose Zihuatanejo because of its variety of small, intimate boutique hotels. Also, Paul and I are big foodies so we were excited to explore the culinary variety and quality that Zihuatanejo is known for. Zihuatanejo ended up representing really what we are all about.

I had scoured blogs and had been planning a big wedding for the past year so it was fairly easy to know what I did and did not want, what was important and unimportant. For me, my dress and shoes were important – I wanted to feel like a princess on my big day. For the wedding in Thailand I had originally chosen The Duchess dress by Aster and Ivy. I realized quickly that the pastel ballerina-like dress would not do the trick in such a vibrant, vivacious setting in Zihuatanejo. I knew that I wanted an untraditional dress for our untraditional wedding. Paul’s favorite color is orange so looked for coral colored dresses that would have a wedding vibe to them. As soon as I found the coral and white Erin Featherston dress

I knew I had found the gown of my dreams. This dress came alive, it glowed and I glowed, in the lush setting of our resort and Zihuatanejo. Plus the white ombre gave it a bridal feel without a bridal price tag.

My flowers were from a local Zihuatanejo florist that we found on the corner of a side street. The senorita there was delighted and giddy to make my wedding bouquet and his boutonniere. Our only guidelines were to keep it all white and whimsical. My jewellery on the wedding day is all from little boutiques across Denver. They are classic yet whimsical, and I feel complement the vibrancy of our day’s design. I did my hair and makeup myself. I have had my hair and makeup done at weddings by others in the past – I have learned what looks good and where and when to stop or add. Because it was so hot out I had to have my hair up. We added some of the baby’s breath to my hair as a last-minute addition, something that added a bit more whimsy to my look.

Our wedding day was really about enjoying our time together from the moment we woke up until the moment we went to bed. We spent the morning relaxing in our private pool, writing our vows, and soaking up the natural beauty of the hotel and scenery. I have been to so many wedding where the bride and groom are running around frazzled; ours was the complete opposite. We enjoyed every moment.

Getting ready was also something that was unlike other weddings I have been to. I was able to take my time, reminisce with my mom, and reflect on the celebration. Not to mention, in the beauty of our suite, I felt like the most beautiful person on earth – something that I had not felt since my surgery.

The ceremony itself was held on the deck at my mom’s villa where Paul was getting ready. My mother walked me down the “aisle” which was a pathway between our villa and hers. Our wedding song “In the Morning” by Junior Boys was playing on the ipod dock. When I walked out on the patio he took my breath away; I was about to marry the most gorgeous man in the world. The sun was shining and we felt like we were the only people on earth, completely caught up in each other – it was surreal!

We decided to conduct the ceremony ourselves so we could make it personal rather than get a stranger to speak at our extremely intimate wedding. Our plan was to each say what our definition of love and marriage was, then my mom would say a tribute and give us the rings, then we would say our vows. We got caught up in the moment and each other and forgot that my mom was supposed to speak! I started crying as soon as Paul opened his mouth and our love poured from our hearts over each other and the bays of Zihuatanejo. I remember thinking as soon as our vows began that I would not want to have a wedding any other way, with anyone else but us two standing on that deck, right then and right there. It was perfect.

Our photographer was Taryn Baxter. I know Taryn from working in Victoria, Canada and have been completely obsessed with her work since. Having her there only made the day better; she made us feel totally comfortable especially for my husband who is extremely camera shy. It was fascinating to watch her in her creative zone, snapping away. You could really tell that photography is what she’s meant to do, it was a beautiful thing to watch. My favorite thing about my photos is all of the little looks, laughs and details Taryn captured. She told our story.

After the ceremony we headed to the cozy lounge, ordered champagne, and had some laughs. We then had a taxi take us down to the Zihuatanejo square to take pictures. We walked along a path that curled along the ocean front down to the fishing pier and town square. The waves were crashing and we had to dodge them the best we could as to not get wet. Down at the fishing pier locals stared and smirked at us while we took pictures, probably wondering why we would be taking pictures there. But to us it was beautiful and captured the true culture of Zihuatanejo.

My biggest words of advice to brides is to give yourself plenty of time to get ready and never lose sight of what you want during your day. Don’t forget what it’s all about. One thing I would change about the wedding is to have our brothers there. Although it was nice to have a very intimate wedding, nothing compares to the support and love from your family.

Mexico Dreaming: A Destination Wedding in Sayulita

Sayulita is pure magic. Sunny, tropical, ocean views for days magic. And for a couple who wanted an intimate, zero fuss affair with a side of churros and the best dance party ever, this locale was a winner. So with fancy wedding day attire packed, loved ones in tow and Jillian Mitchell Photography enlisted to capture all the awesome, these love birds said “I Do” in true destination wedding fashion.

Colors
From Jillian Mitchell PhotographyThis wedding is close to my heart. Danielle is a photographer in California and contacted me about a year before her wedding to see if I was available and tell me that she may or may not have been stalking me. I knew immediately that I had to document her day and I am so glad I did. The love that she and David have for each other is infectious and just being around the two of them makes you yearn for the kind of love they have.

From The Bride…Entering the crazy realm of wedding planning solicited many conversations between my husband and I in terms of what was truly important to us for our special day versus what we didn’t need to spend much energy on. There were many wedding traditions that didn’t make sense for us, and that we didn’t feel the need to participate in, and it took us awhile to realize how much control we actually had in personalizing our day in a way that made sense for us as well. When it really came down to it, what we wanted more than anything was to have a personal, intimate wedding, with little frills and zero fuss…and…we also really wanted a churro maker and the most intense dance party that would make anyone’s toenails sore the next day.

Choosing to have a destination wedding kind of forced us to think outside the box, and by default, there were so many wedding related details we couldn’t possibly worry about, simply because we knew we wouldn’t have access to them. While we didn’t really have a theme, a consistent color palette, a bridal party, or other traditional elements, we were diehard about providing an environment for our friends and family to truly unplug, where cellphones didn’t really need to be on, and one that would undoubtedly encourage everyone to slow down a bit, with the end goal being that we could all truly “live in the moment” with each other. While traveling is such a part of our identity, the need for adventure makes up an even larger percentage, and we deliberately chose a wedding location that many had to pull up a detailed map of Mexico to find, and a location we had actually never been to as well (although it had come so highly recommended by a plethora of other travel-obsessed friends, we knew wholeheartedly that it was a perfect fit for us). Beyond the wedding day being one of the most emotionally exhilarating days in this kind of out-of-body way that we’ll never be able to articulate, we had invited all of our guests to our villa (that overlooked all of Sayulita and all of its wonder) for a cocktail party the night before. Seeing all of our favorite people meet for the first time and connect with one another was undoubtedly one of the most indescribable feelings that still makes us smile, months later. All of these people that we’ve loved over the course of our lives were so excellent to each other, and we had a mutual sense of proudness to call all these amazing people our biggest supporters. The memories we’ve collected from our “wedding adventure” in Sayulita still flood our daily lives and we still love to reminisce about “that one time we went to Mexico and got married in a place we’ve never been”. We STILL know exactly what those churros tasted like based on collective memory, and we still reference our dance party and the group speeches immediately followed by tequila shots. For lack of a better phrase, we wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day, it could have been more “us” if we tried.

Tulum Mini-Guide

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Tulum myself on numerous occasions. But if I’m being totally honest, those visits typically involve me plunking myself on the beach and calling it a day. But after reading through Courtney‘s mini-guide to Tulum, I’m feeling the urge to head back and seriously explore! Chock full of dreamy photos, the gallery is the only place you’ll need to be this morning.

From Courtney Perkins Ryan… For our one year anniversary, I surprised my husband with a trip to Tulum. I think I now have brownie points for a year! Since the traditional one year anniversary gift is paper, I revealed the surprise to him by giving him a travel guide/itinerary I had made for our trip (printed through Artifact Uprising). I did a bunch of research on best restaurants, activities and what unique things Tulum has to offer. I planned lots of adventures, as well as scheduled a healthy amount of time for doing nothing on the beach.

For the first half of our trip, we stayed at Zen Serenity, a gorgeous resort on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It was beyond stunning and the staff was the nicest out of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in, not exaggerating. They found out it was our anniversary and arranged a private four-course dinner for us in a gazebo overlooking the ocean, complete with unlimited wine service and the sweetest waiter who sang his favorite Mayan songs to us. It was one of the most memorable dinners we’ve had together.

The rooms in the hotel were beautiful and every meal we had was fresh and delicious. We quickly became big fans of this place, not to mention them having yoga classes every morning and a spa that was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend splurging on the couple’s massage. We did it, and it was so worth it.

For the last four days of our trip, we stayed at Coqui Coqui, an eco-friendly boutique hotel on the beach which had a total of eight rooms. We went with the beach suite which had a great little patio overlooking the ocean. The hotel didn’t have any AC, so at night we would open all the windows and balcony door and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Living in the city, it was so different from what we were used to that it took a night or two to get used to, but then we fell in love with it.

The hotel has a small food/drink selection with limited hours, but all of the good restaurants in Tulum are walking distance from the hotel. Steps from the lobby, is their perfumery where they sell the most delicious massage oils, room scents and perfumes. I couldn’t leave without taking home a bottle of my favorite scent, the coconut. It smells like the beach and reminds me of Tulum every time I put it on.

My husband and I travel a lot but have never been to a place where the sand was so soft and the water so warm and clean. I would do anything to be back there right now. We spent a lot of time just lounging by the ocean and taking it all in. Oh, and eating. We’re big fans of that. Here were our favorites, in order.

Casa Jaguar: Our favorite of the jungle restaurants and probably our favorite in Tulum. The decor had a very bohemian feel. The scene was a super-chill garden with chandlers and dreamcatchers hanging above the mismatched wooden tables. The food was all cooked by an open fire. We had the grilled whole fish with goat cheese, pine nuts and passion fruit. Drinks were equally as good. I’d recommend getting a mezcal drink or a michelada. Wait staff were super friendly and happy to explain the whole menu (displayed on a huge chalk board which the waiter brings to your table). Our last night In Tulum, we went back for drinks and discovered the little restaurant had turned into a Mayan jungle club lit by hanging candles. It was like stepping into a foreign Mayan world full of twirling Mexican hipsters. So. Much. Fun. If you’re there on a Thursday, check it out after the restaurant closes at 11pm.

Hartwood: This place is a must-go-to. Owned by two former New York chefs who made the move to Tulum to open Hartwood. They operate using only electricity generated by their solar panels. The place is just off the main road on the jungle side of Tulum and is lit primarily by candle light. Like many of the other Tulum eateries, they cook everything over a wood-fire oven. We ordered the whole fish for two, and it was amazing and huge, big enough to feed four people. Menu changes daily depending on what they sourced locally that day. Drinks were great and larger than most in Tulum.

Posada Margherita: Our favorite of the beach restaurants. Best ambience/view with a lovely breeze throughout the restaurant offering a much needed reprieve from the heat and bugs of the jungle restaurants. Fresh pastas and fishes and the best margaritas in Tulum. They also have gluten free options, score.

We also loved Be Tulum for lunch and beach side drinks. They had amazing pina coladas. It’s also a hotel that looked pretty rad. If you’re looking for a good late night spot, go to Gitano. Great bartenders and unique cocktails.

Intimate Playa Del Carmen Destination Wedding

Having been to a destination wedding in Mexico, I can safely say they’re awesomeness wrapped up in sunshine and love. And the details of this affair, think driftwood with calligraphy by KAKalligraphy and florals from Canteiro, add a layer of all out romance to this tropical locale. Have a look at the full affair choreographed and designed by LVL Weddings And Events along with imagery by Brandon Kidd Photography right here.

From The Bride…Three adjectives that describe the day are: beautiful, romantic, and wild.

We wanted it to feel like an extension of us, as if we were having a casual dinner party at our house but with amazing food and everyone dressed up. We let the natural ocean side surroundings really shine by keeping everything else quite intimate. The details we did use were pulled from our likes and backgrounds. Me, being in fashion, I love textiles and things with texture so many of the details we used were from that inspiration. I loved the chairs we draped with soft multi colored ribbon, and the arch we built that was filled with yards and yards of fabric draped over ocean driftwood.

The flowers were beautifully different. We incorporated lots of textures, driftwood, branches, dusty miller, tulips and roses. I wanted so much to have anonome’s but since we were married in the south of Mexico where virtually no flowers are grown there, we either had to fly them in or use the ones they offered so we decided to add in ribbon and extra fabric from my bridesmaids dresses to make them unique but at the same time really brought the whole look together.

We rarely followed the typical “wedding protocol” We are traditional people but we are also very fun and we like to do things our way. So, we tried to steer away from the “traditional” wedding things. If we did the traditional things, we did them our way, like our first dance, we lead into our first dance right after our entrance, and we didn’t do it to your typical love song, we danced like crazy to the song by Hall and Oats, You make my dreams. It was great, and much more a reflection of us than your typical slow dance. Same thing with other traditions like not sleeping in the same room the nights before, etc. We not only stayed in the same room, but we got up together as we normally do and had breakfast as a couple with our friends. We tried to make it a more casual, relaxed and un-planned.. more so than a day full of times, and places we had to be.

We didn’t have many challenges as our planning team and the hotel helped accommodate all of our wish list. If anything, it would probably be, just getting all of our friends, family and vendors down to mexico.

By far, our most memorable moment of the day is the pool party! Jason and I had joked about who was going to go into the pool first and we never thought is would be us!! Once we finished with Cake cutting, we were able to sneak away to “get cleaned up” (we both had cake all over us!) so, everyone was not paying attention to us, we quickly prepared our photographer, and took off our shoes and 1-2-3! JUMPED in the pool!! At first I think our guests were shocked that someone would be so rude to Jason and Heidi by ruining the wedding and getting in the pool but once they saw it was the bride and groom (FULLY clothed in wedding attire still…) were the ones who jumped in…it was a free for all. Jason and I laughed in the pool while we watched people jump in from every side of the pool! It was like they were jumping from a burning building, everyone was doing it, and they were jumping from every angle. It was so fun because our amazing musician, Kevin Miso, played a great session while we all splashed like 10 years old in the pool for a while!

We did not write our own vows, but we had some input on what we wanted included in our ceremony. A theme, throughout our wedding was a quote we love by Jeremy Taylor, “Love is Friendship set on fire.” We even had a reading during the ceremony of a poem by Laura Hendricks. “Love is friendship caught fire; it is quiet, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection, and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Love is content with the present, hopes for the future, and does not brood over the past. It is the day-in and day-out chronicles of irritations, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working toward common goals. If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things you lack. If you do not have it, no matter what else there is, it is not enough.”

I’m a perfectionists and very detail oriented so my brain automatically goes to the logistics of the day….like; make sure you outline the songs, make sure you have enough welcome bags, we must have a vegetarian option for dinner, table seating arrangements, etc….but at the end of it all, my only real advice would be to surround yourself with the people who truly matter to you. The ones who you could laugh all day with no matter what’s happening. Because, everything could go wrong on your day from the weather to vendors not showing up, but at the end of it all, if your jumping in the pool fully clothed (wedding gown and all) with your best friends and family, all that other stuff goes away. No one can remember what color flowers were on the table or even what song you first danced to. Those people remember the experience and who they were sharing it with. So, focus on the people you are celebrating with and the person you are committing your heart to and nothing else matters.

Our favorite detail of the wedding was having our close friend marry us. We opted for a more personal feel by having someone who really knows us and our story be the one to help us commit our futures to each other. So we had the best man do double duty and he was our officiant. We didn’t say vows but Karl told our story better than I think we could have.

In the wedding blogging world, we have our own celebrities, and Lane Dittoe is definitely one of them. If you mention his name around our offices, you most likely will hear us all start listing off our favorite Lane Dittoe classics (like this one or this one or this one). Well, it’s safe to say we have another beauty to add to the list, and it’s all thanks to this gorgeous couple and their picture perfect Cabo San Lucas wedding. And you can see just what I mean right here.

From The Bride…Brian and I have known each other for almost 9 years. I have always known he was the one for me so when we finally decided to get married, we knew we didn’t want a traditional one night wedding celebration. We wanted our wedding to feel like a vacation, the kind that you take with the closest of friends. We chose Cabo San Lucas because it was an easy flight for our friends, and especially for our dog Chloe, who just so happened to be our ring bearer.

We rented a beautiful, 10,000 square foot oceanfront villa for four nights. We hired a staff to cook breakfast and lunch for us everyday and we enjoyed just a few of the many delicious restaurants Cabo had to offer. We had a wonderful time with our nearest and dearest. While the guys went golfing at Cabo del Sol, the girls stayed back at the villa where Suzanne Morel’s mobile spa came to treat us to massages, manicures and pedicures overlooking the ocean. Our days were sun-drenched and spent on the beach drinking cervezas & margaritas, lounging by the pool and enjoying a full staff who attended to our guests and their every need. Our goal was that our friends didn’t lift a finger and simply enjoyed themselves. I’d say it was a mission accomplished.

I hired a Suzanne Morel as my wedding planner and, although she helped with much of the organization, flowers and food, I DIY-ed much of my decor. I am obsessed with black & white stripes, pink and gold so it was vital that I incorporate them into the decor. Gold-rimmed plates, pink napkins, gold flatware and personalized carved wooden placeholders sat atop a single black & white striped table. The gold leafed “yours mine” signs were also custom made as well as the large golden pinata. We all sat together and enjoyed a delectable dinner, followed by dancing and more poolside lounging.

We wouldn’t trade our wedding week for anything in the world.
