Party Theme Idea: Life is a Circus!
If ever there was an appropriate party theme for a baby shower...Life is a Circus just might be it! This coming from a mom of three so said circus makes perfect sense for what's to come. With a popcorn and peanut bar, a flame throwing, bubble blowing, impossibly awesome entertainer and basically the best carnival food a girl could ask for, this is all of the party inspo you need. This shoot is a "follow up" shoot to a Coastal Bachelorette Weekend that SMP featured! The mama-to-be, Kate, was our bride-to-be in the bachelorette weekend shoot, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate her biggest milestones with her! Life is a Circus!
This vibrant and fun circus themed babyshower took place at The Bend, a beautiful property along the bend of the Ashley River in Charleston. As Kate's girlfriends arrived, they were greeted by a true performer to set the tone for the circus! Deena of Good Clean Fun Events played with fire (literally!) and made amazingly huge bubbles.
Guests were seated under our version of a "Big Top"- a Raj tent adorned with colorful ribbon to set the circus theme-and treated to on theme treats by Salthouse Catering. Snacks included mini corn dogs, crudite cups with green goddess dressing, a snack bar with pretzels, peanuts and of course-animal crackers! The light and refreshing Honeydew Melon Cooler topped with cotton candy was as tasty as it was pretty! The ladies then lounged while the mama-to-be opened all of the thoughtful gifts her friends brought.
