Family-Oriented Alps Wedding

After I read that this tucked away Alps soiree took place on the Bride's family's 400 (yes, you read right) year old farm—I was instantly intrigued. And after perusing through the lovely images from WeddingCity Photography, I was pulled in even further with the sweet DIY details, that gorgeous barn and the all-around family-infused feel. It's a gallery you'll want to cozy up to darling, promise.

From the beautiful Bride… I would love to share with you my wedding which took place on the 10th of August 2013. We celebrated in the beautiful mountain scenery of the Alps in a four hundred year old farm that my family owns. The only thing you can see from there is the "Wild Kaiser" a very famous Austrian mountain, hills and trees. The light at that time of the year is beautiful. We did many things ourselves like decorating the tables with stones from a close by river and lavender from my aunt's garden. I sewed the garland you see on many of the pics myself. One thing I‘m very proud of are our beautiful invitation cards.
