From Christine Clark Photography… Claire and Paddy’s engagement session took place on the beautiful west side of Ireland. We started out at an old castle ruin, where a lush tapestry of greens spread itself across worn stone. The quiet and luminous solitude of the place was calming in its abandoned beauty. After exploring the ruins and surrounding area, we headed out to the Cliffs of Moher, rugged and green with windswept waves crashing below. We wandered the cliffs, picking our way along the coastal path beneath us. Claire herself is a wonderful photographer in Ireland, and we had a brilliant time roaming the area. The weather held off just long enough for us to venture down the path, taking photos as we went along. It was a lovely day for photo adventures and exploration through the Irish countryside.

Stop whatever you’re doing – I have a treat that beats all others (even that second cup of coffee). I’ve watched this Dreamcatcher Productions film more than once and every time, happy tears appear. The adorableness between these two makes me believe in love and laughter. And the Bride’s look, there’s no words, it’s that good. My new style crush and a love story in one; not sure it gets better than this.

From Dreamcatcher Productions… On the summer equinox Grace and Brian tied the knot nine years to the day of meeting. An intimate wedding in the beautiful walled garden grounds of Doonbeg Lodge, West Ireland, they choose a ancient Celtic Handfasting ceremony with Dara Molloy, a renowned Celtic celebrant. After the ceremony we brought the couple on a stunning beach walk for some romantic photos and filming. Lots of DIY decor in the marquee with beautiful and funny speeches followed by some crazy dance moves. A very special and stylish wedding.

Looking out to sea.
The broad Atlantic swells below me
A bridge love between you and me.
The puffins cry above the tide
The seagulls glide through the air
They’re calling you back from New York City
Back home to the county of Clare.

In the old-fashioned way

With limestone and flowers so rare.

Where holy ones once knelt in prayer.
