A Timelessly Elegant Celebration of Love at The Adolphus
Katelyn & Kyle's wedding is full of classic elegance, timeless romance, and understated luxury. A simple color palette of white and ivory adds sophistication, and brings the focus on the most meaningful parts of the wedding day: the relationships, sweet marriage between the bride & groom, and darling moments between the bride and her flower girls.
Katelyn's La Premiere gown from Stanley Korshak exuded classic elegance with a touch of playful femininity. The strapless neckline, lace details, and oversized bow were the perfect look for this stunning bride! Her hair was placed in an elegant, low bun, showing off the back of the dress and the gorgeous bow.
The dinner menu featured a mix of fresh, seasonal ingredients and classic comfort food favorites. The couple chose to honor their beloved dogs as the signature drinks, and offered up The Palmer (a variation of a French 75) and The Murphy (an Old Fashioned).
The cake is a classic white with a smooth finish, and topped with a simple and elegant cake topper featuring a bride and groom that had been passed down in the bride's family. A nod to the Texas location of the wedding, one of the cake flavors was red velvet - a classic Southern dessert with cream cheese filling, and rich vanilla buttercream icing. The second flavor was a vanilla cake complemented by a crunchy toffee filling and a smooth vanilla buttercream icing. The loveliest combinations from Fancy Cakes by Lauren!
The bride is very close to her flower girls. Throughout the day, they were close at hand, helping the bride with her dress, giving her hugs, and fawning over her. It was so darling to see their sweet relationships!
