A Sentimental Garden Celebration at Home With Theatrical Touches and Speakeasy Vibes
Our couple welcomed their dearest friends and family into their home, giving a glimpse into the beautiful life they’ve built together. As guests gathered in the outdoor garden in wrought iron chairs among the florals, our bride made her way down the pebble path toward their I do’s in a boot after fracturing her foot earlier that month. Sentimental, nostalgic touches continued to carry them and their loved ones throughout the evening, reflecting their passion for dogs (as dog trainers, love for each other, and their family. After celebrating and sipping on specialty cocktails, guests were invited to dine at intimate and thoughtfully curated long draped tables set with an abundance of candlelight, delicate silk bows, and beautiful china, creating a theatrical ambiance as a nod to their love of the stage and showtunes. As market lights and fringed pendants hang above and fill the night sky, laughter and joy fill the tables before guests move indoors for dancing, a bar, libations, and cozy gatherings in lounges, reminiscent of a speakeasy.
Food was provided by Chef Christos Gourmaze with tray passed apps which included Weiser Farms Organic Melons compressed with ginger, lime, Italian basil & wrapped with San Daniele prosciutto, Tomato & Strawberry Marmalade Bruschetta, and Dry aged wagyu sliders, followed by Short Rib Cavatelli, Mediterranean seabass, and the chicken rouladd, as well as cauliflower steak. For Drinks, they decided to treat their guests with specialty cocktails via Snake Oil, such as a Quinn’s Roll Over Martini (Espresso Martini), Chasing Cars (Blood Orange Tequila Sunrise), and a Holly on a leash (Dirty Shirley Temple).
Florals consisted of fun, whimsical garden blooms with a mixture of delicate textures and fragrances. Focused on soft, earthy tones including cream, taupe, chocolate, and intentional placements of apricot and dusty blues. Chocolate or tonal florals en masse beautifully paired with long linear rows of candles at varying heights and silk bow accents.
