A Modern and Minimalist Wedding Look at the Crossed Keys Estate in New Jersey
From the moment they walked into this New Jersey Wedding Venue, they knew it had the perfect mix of a modern and minimalist look with classic elegance at the Crossed Keys Estate. From there, they added key elements to complement the venue’s already beautiful ambiance. As you can see, the Crossed Keys Estate was the absolute picture-perfect venue for their day. From their romantic first look on the private tree-lined driveway to their golden hour sunset amongst the foliage, their photos by New Jersey Wedding Photographer Michelle Behre Photography say it all!
They say the best things in life happen when you least expect them. The same could be said for Bryan and Ariel. As graduate students and interns at the same company, their story began in friendship. Having many mutual friends, they began to find themselves together more often than not. Before they knew it, they were talking every day and became inseparable. Then one summer day, Bryan took Ariel for a walk to a local dock to ask her a very important question. From there, their love story officially began. Shortly thereafter, the world was hit with a little something called the global pandemic. After a year of hunkering down together, they decided to take their next leap into home ownership. One year later, there was just one thing missing from their life together: a proposal. One rainy spring day, Bryan and Ariel made a surprise stop at the local dock where their love story first began. Before Ariel could realize what was going on, Bryan was down on one knee to ask her one more very important question, and the rest is history. Within short order, wedding planning was officially underway, and the first choice was securing a venue.
The floral artistry of Ariel and Bryan’s wedding was brought to life by Crossed Keys Designs, the estate’s in-house floral team. With our onsite design team, couples benefit from a seamless and cohesive process where florals are personalized to reflect their unique vision. The bridal bouquet featured a stunning blend of white garden roses, ranunculus, and lisianthus, exuding timeless sophistication. The ceremony space was adorned with a white wooden chuppah, elegantly draped in cascading white florals and lush greenery, framed by delicate white aisle petals. For the reception, Camille and latte-toned linens provided a warm, neutral backdrop for lush centerpieces filled with white delphinium, hydrangea, lisianthus, ranunculus, stock, and spray roses. The result was a setting of refined luxury and ethereal beauty.
