Hollywood Glam Meets Aspen Charm at Hotel Jerome
Brooke's wedding vision was the perfect fusion of old Hollywood glamour and the chic, rustic charm of Aspen. She imagined a celebration where timeless elegance met glamorous mountain sophistication, creating an atmosphere that was both luxurious and inviting. The ballroom became a reflection of this vision, transformed into a glamorous space filled with rich textures, opulent details, and subtle nods to nature. Think glittering chandeliers, a black and white checkered dance floor, and dramatic floral arrangements paired with the classic Hotel Jerome decor, perfectly capturing the essence of Aspen’s beauty. The bride wanted every detail to evoke a sense of classic sophistication, from the formal black-tie attire to the rich, romantic candles that bathed the room in a golden glow. The vibe was intimate yet grand, a celebration of love that felt personal, magical, and unforgettable. It was an evening where Hollywood elegance embraced the serene charm of the mountains—a vision brought to life with perfection.
By pure coincidence, their love story began in Aspen. They were in Aspen on a weekend trip with friends when Max suggested they go snowmobiling. Brooke is more of an elite shopper than an elite athlete, so she was caught a bit off guard at the snowmobiling activity - but it’s now one of her most cherished memories. After stopping at one of the viewpoints on top of the mountain, Max got down on one knee, Brooke said “yes,” and proceeded to almost crash the snowmobile into a tree shortly after.
Brooke truly embodied the elegance of a real-life princess on her wedding day, wearing a breathtaking Vera Wang gown that featured a structured corset, a stunning drop waist, and an ethereal long train. Her look was completed with a matching Vera Wang veil adorned with intricate applique flowers, a one-of-a-kind piece purchased at Vera Wang’s flagship in Beverly Hills. To add even more sparkle, Brooke was adorned in dazzling diamonds from her favorite jeweler, Meridian Jewelers in Aspen. For the reception, she slipped into a glamorous all-beaded Berta gown, a show-stopping piece from NWLA Bridal in Santa Monica. This gown was perfect for the evening’s chic champagne tower and lively dancing. As the night continued into an unforgettable after-party at the Caribou Club, Brooke made her final style statement in a short, sparkling custom dress designed by MadebyILA. Each gown reflected her timeless sense of style while capturing the magic and sophistication of the day.
Max’s Groomsmen were dressed in classic black-tie attire to complement the formal elegance of the occasion. This includes black tuxedos, crisp white shirts, black bow ties, and polished black shoes. Cummerbund and other accessories were coordinated to ensure a sleek and cohesive look.
They kicked off the weekend at Silver City Saloon with a western disco party! Wandering Poppy brought in a mix of disco balls, white florals, tinsel, and rope lights to transform the space and give it a little disco flair! The ceremony was lined with clear acrylic chairs and white roses with a stunning all white, floral-filled Chuppah, while the reception included luxurious, textured white linens and hemstitched napkins on the tables (BBJ LaTavola). We brought in gold rimmed plates and glassware with flatware that gave the tabletop a bit of vintage flair. The entire room was covered in gorgeous white drapes (Little Mad Events), and hundreds of white roses, hydrangeas, and orchids (Wandering Poppy) lined the tables while vintage-inspired chandeliers floated around the space (Colorado Party Rentals).
Brooke made a breathtaking entrance as she walked down the aisle to the beautiful sounds of Young & Beautiful by Lana Del Rey, performed live by the talented Silver City Strings. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical as the music set the perfect tone for her elegant journey to Max. The reception began with Brooke and Max sharing their first dance to Adore U by Fred Again.. & Obongjayar, a heartfelt choice that perfectly captured their love and connection. The moment was brought to life by the incredible energy of their 12-piece band, The Jordan Kahn Music Company, whose music set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Later, Brooke shared a tender father-daughter dance to Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide, a timeless song that evoked emotion and meaning for the special moment. The night was filled with heartfelt speeches from the father of the bride and groom, the mother of the groom, the maid of honor, and the best man, each sharing love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A vintage mirror and dozens of candles made for a chic seating chart (SheLettering) for guests to find their seats.
