Colorful Spring Celebration Bursting With Blooms for a Wedding Florist Bride!

The overall design of the wedding day was a mix of fun, modern elements and classical, feminine whimsy. The day was filled with love and excitement as each moment emphasized the celebration of Lexi and Peter and all those that they held dear. Lexi is a floral designer, and was excited to dream up an incredible floral arch for ceremony & fun reception moments.

The bridal party started the day bright and early in classic, girlhood fashion by all getting ready together at the Vineyard Cottage. Lexi had each girl choose a fun and flouncy dress in various shades of pink. Their bouquets were full of bright blooms with bright pops of pink to accent their dresses.

Field to Table Events catered the wedding day, emphasizing fresh, local produce and a vibrant, fun take on the cuisine. Copper and Crystal bartended and made a timeless old fashioned and margarita for Lexi and Peter's signature cocktails.

Precious and Blooming Floral Design used bright bursts of pink peonies, soft blushing ranunculus and roses, and pops of blue sprinkled throughout her arrangements. A lush floral arch was the centerpiece for the ceremony, offering the perfect backdrop as the couple said their I Dos. The reception took place in the refurbished, modern stable at Greengate which perfectly juxtaposed the fun, girly patterns, textures and florals. Clusters of bud vases and full blooming arrangements were accented with the warm glow from the candlelight during the reception. At each place setting, custom menus with silky bows made by Ivy and Linen were placed atop the scalloped dinner plates. A pink bar and overhanging crystal chandeliers set the tone for the electric dance party that followed.

The tiered wedding cake was made by Autumn Cake Designs. It was an almond cake with strawberry buttercream. The outside was a simple, clean design decorated with a sprinkling of fresh blossoms. This Will Be an Everlasting Love by Natalie Cole played and cameras flashed as Lexi and Peter sliced into the cake.

Lexi & Peter's ceremony was incredibly special. The pair met at church, and kept their faith at the forefront of their entire celebration, especially the ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye in sight as they exchanged personal vows. commenced in a private communion, and enjoyed a worship song.

The couple hand wrote heartfelt letters to each of their guests which were used in a custom pink bookshelf that was used as the escort display.

We loved designing a standout head table moment for the couple and their bridal party. We placed a row of chandeliers to add soft lighting & adorned the table with florals overflowing off of the ends of each table.

The flower girls dresses with oversized bows was such a fun fashion moment! The little ones felt so special to be a part of the ceremony and get to walk down the aisle right before Lexi.
