Top Philadelphia Chefs Wed at Cedar Lakes Estate in an Affair That Was *Chef's Kiss*

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

The bride is the owner and chef of the acclaimed Her Place Supper Club, and the couple also co-own My Loup, both in Philadelphia. Since they are both chefs, a key element to the wedding weekend had to be great food. As far as design, Amanda found her floral embroidered veil from A&M Enterprises first. The veil then inspired the floral color palette and design. Florals were a main design element for this wedding, which included a large huppah and hundreds of centerpieces for both the welcome dinner on Friday and the wedding day on Saturday. The couple wanted to the weekend to be beautifully designed, but still be filled with fun and ease.

The Fashion
Wedding Gown
The bride chose a simple strapless gown so she could be comfortable yet chic. Her stylish moment was her floral embroidered veil, which inspired the entire color palette and huge emphasis on florals.
Bridesmaid Dresses

There was no bridal party.

Groomsman Attire
The groom wore a dark green suit, giving a nod to formality without wearing a traditional black suit or tux.
The Details
Food & Drink

A Friday night welcome dinner was centered around florals and peaches. Peaches appeared in the drinks (as well as in the escort cards and design). Since food was so important to them, they also sourced a specific caviar for their cocktail hour on Saturday, and enjoyed a family style meal with their family and friends during the reception. The bride loves pie, so rather than cake they offered guests multiple types of pie at the end of the evening. Special cookies were also presented.

Florals & Decor
Florals were inspired by the bride's veil, in various shades and textures of green, pink, yellow, and orange. A winding floral path through the ampitheater at Cedar Lakes led to floral filled huppah for their ceremony. The cocktail hour featured a canoe filled with flowers as their escort card display.
Wedding Cake

The bride doesn't like cake, so the couple opted for pies instead!

Special Detail #1

Cocktail hour was first! The bride and groom shared a first look and portraits, before the bride changed into another dress for their cocktail hour as guests arrived. Following the cocktail hour, the bride changed back into her wedding dress for the ceremony. The ceremony then went immediately into the reception.

Special Detail #2
The bride changed into a third dress (a vintage Dolce & Gabbana) for the dance floor.
