A Summer Wedding at the Inn at Carnall Hall Inspired by a "Coastal Hamptons" Aesthetic

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

From the very beginning, Brooklyn and Kolby Bowman of Amanda Reed Weddings envisioned a wedding inspired by the “coastal Hamptons,” full of timeless elegance and charm. As the design evolved, Kolby knew it was important to honor her sweet mom’s memory. Intentional, meaningful details were woven throughout the day to celebrate her presence, making the experience as heartfelt as it was beautiful.

Proposal Story
Brooklyn and Denton got engaged at Crystal Bridges Art Museum last September, followed by an engagement party with family and friends at a rooftop restaurant to celebrate.
The Fashion
Wedding Gown

Brooklyn’s dress was such a showstopper—clean and classic with a bold, playful bow that added a modern twist. The bow was such a fun design element that it was even incorporated into the wedding cake as a nod to her stunning gown!

Bridesmaid Dresses
The bridesmaids dresses from Revelry in a soft blue connected to the color story of the day and added fun textures with the different dresses that each bridesmaid wore.
The Details
Food & Drink

Guests enjoyed a lush buffet of chicken and prime rib, paired with fresh, vibrant sides that reflected the couple’s love for elegant yet approachable dining. The signature cocktails added a personalized touch, perfectly complementing the coastal-inspired atmosphere.

Florals & Decor
The wedding florals by Pigmint were nothing short of perfection, with lush greenery and white blooms accented by soft blue hues. The hydrangeas overflowing the tables and cake table added to the coastal vision. Each arrangement brought the coastal vision to life while feeling effortlessly elegant. For the rehearsal dinner, Blush Dahlia designed stunning red-and-white Razorback-themed florals, adding a bold and playful touch that celebrated the couple’s Arkansas roots.
Wedding Cake

The cake was a beautiful blend of elegance and personality. Featuring soft blue and white tones, it was adorned with a delicate sugar bow—a fun nod to Brooklyn’s dress—and layered with flavors that delighted every guest.

Special Detail #1
Every detail of the day was curated with intention. From custom monogrammed napkins at the rehearsal dinner and wedding to heartfelt tributes to Brooklyn’s mom throughout the ceremony and reception, the day was a perfect blend of personal and timeless. Even the farewell was a thoughtful touch, with the staged dance floor send off with streamers!
Special Detail #2

A special detail added at the reception were two printed bridal portraits: one of Brooklyn's mom and a recreated bridal portrait of Brooklyn photographed at the same location.
