A Colorful Wedding With Painterly Vibes at Monte Bello Estate
Since Andrew and I were both on call during Christmas, we decided on having a delayed Christmas celebration, and on that night, Andrew told me I could start by opening my first present, which was "on the tree." When I looked, a new ornament in the shape of a little package addressed to me was on the tree, and when I opened it, there was a little message in a bottle saying "Sayeh will you marry me?" and when I turned around, he was down on one knee. It was so sweet and thoughtful, and one of the best nights of my life!
My wedding gown was a custom Valentini gown that I purchased at Dimitra's Bridal in Chicago.
Bridesmaids' attire was blush pink Azazie gowns.
Andrew had a custom Hall Madden tuxedo, and the groomsmen rented tuxedos from the Black Tux.
Courses included an arugula and goat cheese salad starter, entrees of Chilean sea bass and filet mignon served with sides of parmesan gnocchi and grilled asparagus. Specialty drinks were an espresso martini and margarita (named the Luna Meowtini and Juno Meowgarita after our cats)
Florals by Life in Bloom, inspired by a garden fairytale theme
Our cake included layers of lemon cake with lemon cream cheese and blueberry jam, as well as almond cake with raspberry jam and almond buttercream. We also served an assortment of desserts, including tiramisu and cheesecake cups, macaroons, and cookies.
