Surim and Josh's wedding at Cornman Farms in Dexter, Michigan, was a day filled with intimate moments and personal touches, surrounded by 60 of their closest loved ones.
The ceremony took place on the farmhouse lawn, under a large tree with a colorful floral arch, perfectly framed by the farm’s beautiful gardens. Guests enjoyed a cozy cocktail hour in the barn, where the farm’s goats made a playful appearance. The family-style dinner featured vintage china, lush florals, and Parisian macarons as a nod to the couple’s engagement in Paris. The evening ended with stunning sunset photos and a magical sparkler send-off, creating memories that perfectly captured the love and joy of the day!

Surim and Josh were visiting Paris together and Josh popped the big question along the Seine River with the Eiffel Tower in the background!

The couple and their guests enjoyed a multi course family style dining menu with the following selections: Confit Fennel and Spring Greens Salad, Bourbon Glazed Roasted Beef, Roasted Garlic Mash, Crushed Minted Peas, Roasted Tomatoes, and Cauliflower & Ras el Hanout Rice.
Florals & Decor
Flora Rae designed the most beautiful ceremonial floral arch that sat under the giant oak tree on the Cornman Farms lawn. This arch was then repurposed behind the wedding cake and was a favorite photo spot all night! The bridesmaids carried floral basket bouquets and the family style tables where lines with beautiful arrangements and the loveliest intimate candlelight.

Zingermans Bakehouse created a delicious cake with the following flavors: Vanilla Chiffon Cake with Vanilla Bean Pastry Cream, Cherry Preserves & Vanilla Buttercream.

Their ceremony was conducted by a family friend and mentor, Dr. Pastor Mark Hong; this was a special way to incorporate their connection to faith and familial traditions.
