Bright and Airy Spring Wedding at Georgia's Hadden Estate
The couple chose a classically elegant design for their wedding day. Their refined color palette of light blue, white, and green showed up in the bridesmaids' dresses, ceremony florals, and reception arrangements. The Reception Hall's classic black and white dance floor beautifully complemented their chosen style.
Kaitlin and Nick met in college at Georgia College and State University, where they connected through the on-campus student ministry. Their friendship soon grew into a relationship as they bonded over their love of travel, cooking, and outdoor activities like snow skiing and boating. When Nick decided to propose, he planned a romantic proposal at Ponce City Market in Atlanta. Kaitlin was surprised and immediately said, "Yes!" It was a magical day for the two of them. After their engagement, they started planning their dream wedding in Athens, GA. Before their special day, I had the joy of photographing their engagement session at Montaluce Winery.
The bride looked stunning in a timeless strapless gown from Anne Barge Bridal Atelier. A beautiful bow adorned the back of her dress. For dancing, she slipped into white Converse sneakers.
The men wore classic black three-piece suits from Men's Wearhouse.
Trumps Catering catered a delicious meal.
Oakwood Lace & Co created beautiful floral designs for the wedding. A wooden cross decorated with white and green flowers stood at the ceremony. The reception carried the same color scheme, with centerpieces of white hydrangeas and roses and subtly textured details. A custom seating chart became a standout feature in the room.
Classic City Confections created a simple three-tier wedding cake. Oakwood Lace & Co. finished it with white and blue flowers that pulled the whole design together.
