The vibe of the day was an intimate and glowy wintertime affair, celebrating a long-time relationship and the sweetest little family. With classic and stately energy derived from the picturesque Dover Hall Estate, they married in front of an iconic fireplace. The cozy vibes continued with lush florals and candlelit everything.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The bride looked radiant in a beautiful Ivory ballgown that featured intricate lace and beading in the bodice, with an ethereal tulle skirt. The style perfectly complimented the castle-like quality of the venue and paired so well with her equally ethereal mostly-white bouquet. [/field]

The bridesmaids looked incredible in champagne satin dresses, in a variety of styles, that matched the winter vibe and stood out against the darker spaces in the venue.

The couple treated their guests to a lovely multi-course meal, including a variety of desserts– plus wedding cake, of course! As the reception progressed, guests could opt to take a break from dancing and roast their own marshmallows as part of a gourmet s’mores bar. Guests also enjoyed two signature drinks: “his” was a New York Sour, and “hers” was a Lemon Drop Martini.

A space like Dover Hall makes a statement in itself, but the pair elevated the space with soft and romantic floral elements and many candles. A stunning mantlepiece arrangement of white roses and greenery created a focal point for the ceremony and reception backdrop, and the grand staircase down to the reception space was dripping in greenery and flanked with candles. Tablescapes included even more candles of varying heights and styles and bud vases filled with white florals to pull the space together while allowing the room to speak for itself. Emerald napkins brought in a pop of color and tied in with the greenery.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]A family friend of the couple baked their cake, which made it even more personal and meaningful. The cake was ivory and featured the couple’s initials in gold, as well as a variety of sugar florals cascading down the side. [/field]

As a pair of wine lovers, they created their escort card display with wine bottles that they had shared together. The bottles acted as bud vases to bring in a bit more floral, and the setup looked so pretty in the sun room. The couple did a private champagne tower with just their families and some wedding party members during golden hour, which made for an incredible moment, as the sun drenched through the windows behind them.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The couple’s two-year-old daughter celebrated the entire day with them, from getting ready with her mom to walking down the aisle during the ceremony. She wanted to be part of all of it and joined her parents during the ceremony, holding onto her mom’s dress, during the recessional, and during their first dance at the reception! These heartwarming moments added such a beautiful perspective to the day; it’s so apparent that so much love exists within this sweet little family. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]
The couple honored both sets of families in various ways; they were wed by Josh’s dad, who shared many personal anecdotes as he officiated. And they celebrated Aglaya’s Bulgarian heritage by dancing the traditional “Horo” with their guests during the reception!
