Anca and Trey's wedding reflected a blend of elegance and joy, embodying both romance and modern sophistication. The color palette featured soft sunset pastels accentuated by vibrant pinks and oranges, creating a harmonious gradient with touches of ivory and cream. To add a personal touch, baby blue elements were woven into the centerpieces, arch, and bouquets. Emphasizing their intercontinental love story, the couple incorporated travel-themed details throughout the celebration. Each guest’s seating was marked by a luggage tag with their name and table number, doubling as a fun keepsake. Table numbers represented significant destinations in their journey together, celebrating the places that shaped their relationship.

Proposal Story

Trey and Anca decided to go on their first date in March 2020, just as the world began to grapple with the pandemic. Within two months, they found themselves inseparable, spending every day together and eventually moving in. It quickly became clear that their bond was destined to last. Fast forward three years of shared adventures and unforgettable memories, and January 2023 brought a magical moment: Trey surprised Anca with a getaway to the Dominican Republic, where he proposed on the beach at sunset - an unforgettable scene that perfectly captured their love story.

Florals & Decor

Colorful, lush florals on clear acrylic pedestals adorned the ceremony site, and white rose petals have been given to the guests for the bride and groom recessional. The reception site was decorated with mesmerizing centerpieces of pink, peach, ivory, and blue scent colors, lush greens, and beautiful textures all around.

Anca is originally from Romania, and Trey is of African American descent, so they wanted their wedding to be a seamless blend of their diversity. They didn't only have this gorgeous wedding in San Diego, they also had a second wedding in Romania, in Anca's hometown.
