[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Wildflowers popular in Lake Geneva were the theme for the floral design.

The décor was inspired by our families having history in the LG area, so when our family friend shared her collection of vintage lake Geneva post cards, we knew we had the theme! From our save the date to invite to escort cards, we incorporated vintage post cards. The patina colors framed the warm antique ivory, blue, and rose hues in the flowers and décor.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]vintage lake geneva post cards were used as a custom seating chart in the escort cards, as table numbers, and tied into the liner for the invitations. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Family Matters! The Grandmother’s purse was carried by the bride. The groom’s Dad was his best man, and drove his son to the venue in one of his antique cars. The bride arrived to the venue in a custom built boat. The couple’s one year old son was also in attendance. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The entire wedding was focused around the importance of family specific to Lake Geneva. The bride and groom met because both parents had lake homes across the street from one another. Keith and Kristen then bought a house right behind the groom’s dad’s, where Keith proposed. Their floral was a nod to the wildflowers that grow in Lake Geneva in the summertime. And the venue is home to where both their parents are members and sail often. [/field]
