The Entire Wedding Design Was Based on the Bride’s Gorgeous Botanical Dress!
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
For Sarah, finding the dress was the first step in wedding planning- so it made sense to base the design for the entire event around the amazing gown. Pink and green florals to adorn each piece of the day and fairytale like touches sprinkled throughout. With the birch Chuppah, velvet lounge, and unique font selections Sarah and The Indigo Bride created the most romantic and whimsical day in the Pacific Northwest for their guests to enjoy.
Proposal Story
After attending Seth's sister's wedding near Santa Cruz, the couple took a little trip up to Napa Valley. After a day of tastings amid gorgeous weather, Seth proposed to Sarah on top of Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga. Sarah's ruby engagement ring represents their shared birth month of July and pairs elegantly with her diamond wedding ring.

Wedding Gown
When Sarah envisioned her wedding dress, she never pictured it as white. Her vision ranged from pink to yellow, to green to floral. She wanted her dress to reflect her personal style and still feel undeniably bridal. Her dress from Watters completely hooked her with the pattern, drama, and whimsy that is expressed. From the pink velvet belt, to the cascading layers, it was the perfect gown for her to walk down the aisle in to meet her love.
Bridesmaid Dresses
The textural lace of the off-white, mid-length bridesmaid dresses added a delicate touch, harmonizing beautifully with teh intricate design of Sarah's gown. The soft hues and intricate details of the dresses blended seamlessly with the forest background, creating a scene that was both elegant and in tune with the natural surroundings.

Too Sweet Cakes created a rustic, half naked cake to be a a blank canvas ready to be embellished with fresh flowers. Guests enjoyed a variety of small desserts among the delicious cake.
Special Detail #1
Sarah and Seth chose to have Seth's cousin, Sammie, be their officiant. To be united by someone who intimately knows their relationship and deeply loves them both was such an incredible gift. The ceremony was elevated further with Sammie's lovable humor and crowd pleasing talents. It was the perfect blend of lightheartedness and sincerity, keeping everyone engaged and creating an atmosphere that was both touching and joyful.
Special Detail #2
After the ceremony, Sarah delighted Seth with a surprise that brought out his inner child- a bouncy castle set up for him (and their guests) to enjoy.
