Whimsical Garden Party Aesthetic Done Perfectly at The Baumberhof

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

The vision was an elevated garden party. The Bride loved the whimsical vibe of the garden party but still wanted the event to feel elevated and luxurious. By adding the Black and white stationery, signage, etc We felt like it did just that. Madelyn told her guests to wear a ton of color and it was just so awesome to see all the colors come to life.

Proposal Story

Will proposed to me at the venue I have always wanted to get married at. He picked the most beautiful forest area at the Baumberhof and set up a gorgeous table full of photos, the ring, champagne, and a family bible with my new last name. He told me we were just going to tour it (we knew we wanted to get married there so wanted to book before it filled up). He arrived at my house and got out of the car immediately tearing up, and holding my favorite white dress for me to change into, and drove me to the Baumberhof. We sat in silence on the drive there trying not to look at each other so we wouldn’t cry! He proposed, I said yes, and then he planned a surprise party with over 100 of our friends for me!

The Fashion
Wedding Gown

The gown was an Antonio Gaul Wedding dress made of ivory silk material. It was custom altered and the bride also added the bow that was on the back of her mother's wedding gown when she married. It was a perfect match, and so special.

Bridesmaid Dresses

The bridesmaids' dresses were all assorted from many places. They were told to pick one that suited their personality and one they felt beautiful in. The majority were from Reformation, Saks, and For Love and Lemons.

Groomsman Attire
The Groomsmen’s tuxes were from the black tux and Will wore his late grandfather’s vintage Rolex.
The Details
Food & Drink

The couple had passed hors d’oeuvres by Harris custom catering, and a pizza bar inspired by their favorite restaurant. They also had signature cocktails (strawberry marg and club special) wine, beer, tea, and 6 different flavors of cake.

Florals & Decor

Florals were all assorted stemmy whimsical vibe florals by Rootstock Floral. Rentals were sleek and modern to complement and elevate the florals.

Wedding Cake

The wedding cake was a vintage-inspired two-tier by You Need A Cake. With “Just Married “ written on the top.

Special Detail #1
Special Detail #1 The couple had a coffee bar with custom stickers that looked like Ralphs Coffee because they love that place. The stickers said, “a cup of Aikens”.
Special Detail #2
Special detail #2 Will wore his Late grandpas vintage Rolex and Madelyn’s grandma wore a pin of her late grandpa. The bride wore her Mom’s wedding gown bow on her gown.
Special Detail #3
Special detail #3  The Bride was torn between a ballgown or tight gown, so she surprised everyone and changed into a ballgown for dancing so she could live out her princess dress dreams!
