Sophisticated Style and a Black & White Palette at The Bradford

Brianna and Yetur had summer, modern, black and white wedding at The Bradford in Cary, North Carolina. The design scope was created to be classic, chic, stylish and sophisticated. The goal was to embrace a clean and contemporary aesthetic while designing a wedding that would feature sleek lines and a minimalistic chic aesthetic. The wedding was predominantly white in color scheme with carefully placed black accents to add depth and contrast to the space.

Yetur and I met through mutual friends on a lake trip in 2019. From the moment we met we were inseparable and have spoken every day since. Our proposal was very intimate. It was just us two and the hotel photographer on our vacation in the Dominican Republic. As I stood facing the water, I turned to find Yetur on one knee, in the sand creating a beautiful and unforgettable moment. We were fortunate to have the rest of our vacation to celebrate together.

I visited six different bridal boutiques before finally finding the perfect dress. My gown is a stunning floral lace designed by Evie Young and I knew it was the one the second I tried it on. Not only did I feel beautiful wearing it on my wedding day, but I was comfortable.

I gave my bridesmaids the freedom to pick any style and brand of their liking, as long as it was black. I wanted them to feel comfortable and confident in their own way. Each dress suits their personalities and styles perfectly.

Yetur wore a custom, classic black suit, complemented by a black bowtie, and a white pocket square. To add a personal touch, he had his initials embroidered to the left sleeve cuff.

Brianna and Yetur's wedding menu, curated by Rocky Top Catering in Raleigh, NC, provided a delightful culinary experience for their guests. The main course featured a duet plate of herb-grilled chicken breast and pan-seared salmon, offering a flavorful and elegant dining option. Guests also enjoyed two signature drinks, each named after the couple's beloved dogs, adding a personal touch to the celebration. As the evening progressed, late-night snacks, including hamburger sliders, chips, and pizza rolls, were served, ensuring everyone could enjoy a fun and satisfying end to the festivities.

Brianna and Yetur's wedding decor and florals exuded modern sophistication with timeless elegance, expertly designed by Crystal Govan of Fabulously Created Events. The reception tables featured crisp white tablecloths paired with sleek black chairs, creating a fresh and clean ambiance. Black charger plates, napkins, and flatware added a striking contrast, enriching the overall tablescape. The floral arrangements, skillfully executed by Chris Batts of Heritage Flowers, combined black and white elements, including white flowers with subtle black accents, such as anemones and white calla lilies with black centers. Sage green accents complemented these arrangements, serving as captivating centerpieces that perfectly aligned with the design scheme. White uplighting, strategically placed, cast a soft and romantic glow throughout the venue, enhancing the elegant atmosphere. The black and white theme extended to the invitations, table numbers, place cards, and menus, all featuring sleek typography and minimalist designs. Rentals by Curated Events in Raleigh, NC, added to the sophisticated aesthetic, with black and white signage guiding guests seamlessly throughout the venue. This thoughtfully curated design captivated guests with its blend of modern flair and timeless elegance, creating an unforgettable celebration of Brianna and Yetur's love.

Brianna and Yetur chose to keep their wedding cake simple and elegant, reflecting their preference for a full dessert display over an elaborate cake. The cake was designed with a clean white color palette, accented with delicate pearl beading to enhance its classic look. This understated design allowed the cake to complement the overall dessert experience while still adding a touch of sophistication to their celebration.

The groom Yetur had a grand entrance to the ceremony, being that Yetur is an NFL player it was only fitting he had a game day like entrance to his wedding ceremony. The guests loved it and it set the tone for the rest of the evening!

Yetur is an NFL player, previously on the Panthers here in NC where Brianna and Yetur got married. Yetur just got signed to the San Francisco 49ERS where he is a defensive end.
