Modern Florals and a “Clean Girl” Aesthetic at the Banks, a Waterfront Venue
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
Michelle and Brant’s top priority was creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests felt genuinely cared for and appreciated. They envisioned an experience designed as much for their loved ones as for themselves. A way to honor the time and effort guests invested into not just joining the celebration, but supporting them through out their relationship. When it came to the design of the event, the goal was a look that was both bold and unforgettable. With a focus on modern florals and a chic, clean aesthetic, aiming for a dramatic, memorable impression as guests entered. Emphasis was placed on a sophisticated style with striking accents and carefully chosen statement pieces that brought a bold, modern edge to the decor.

Food & Drink
Food was a central element of Michelle and Brant’s wedding, reflecting Michelle’s passion for feeding those she loves. Known for creating the “perfect bite,” Michelle carefully curated a menu that went beyond standard fare, weaving together her love for diverse flavors and abundant hospitality. From elevated passed hors d'oeuvres like seared tuna skewers and mini lobster rolls to hearty, family-style apps at the rehearsal dinner, every course was designed to make guests feel welcomed and well-cared for.
The wedding day continued with a never ending cocktail hour followed by plated entrées like beef tenderloin with lump crab and roasted branzino. The celebration rounded off with late-night bites, featuring an Ooni pizza station and a luxe caviar bar in the cigar lounge, as well as zeppole and gelato. This experience extended to a post-wedding luncheon at the Lake House on Saturday featuring Southern BBQ and Low Country Boil, making guests feel appreciated from start to finish.

Special Detail #1
After Michelle and Brant’s first dance, they shared a moment to celebrate their new blended family. Each took turns dancing with Michelle’s son and daughter to From the Ground Up by Dan and Shay, a gesture that reflected their commitment to creating a strong family foundation. It was a meaningful moment that left a lasting impression on every guest.
Special Detail #2
Their wedding day was also Brant's birthday which added another layer of celebration to the day! Michelle had a special cake made for him and everyone sang after dinner!
Special Detail #3
My favorite moment of the evening was when Michelle’s son, Wilkie, joined the band during cocktail hour. Wilkie takes drum lessons with Tyler Dempsy, and seeing him step up to play for everyone was truly special. With all eyes on him, Wilkie brought such a personal and joyful element to the evening!
