Inspired by the Couples Love of the Mediterranean at Ocean Cliff
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
The design of the wedding was meant to reflect the couple's love of the Mediterranean, as they met, fell in love, and returned there to propose!
Proposal Story
Lillie and Rob had both opted to leave Boston College to study abroad in Florence, and they found themselves together on a weekend trip, talking while waiting in line to enter the Blue Grotto of Capri.
As luck would have it, they wound up in the same boat.
Upon their return to Florence, Lillie and Rob ran into each other again, this time at the classic Monday night bar—The Lion’s Fountain, an Irish pub in Florence. Rob walked Lillie home and asked her on their first date—lunch after their Italian class for beginners.
Their next date was at the Piazza di Michelangelo, a lookout point in the city, to watch the sunset. Rob was pretty much all in at this point. Lillie, on the other hand, wanted to take some more time to get to know him.
They spent the rest of their time at Boston College together until graduation in the spring of 2017.
And finally, in the fall of 2022, they returned to Italy where it all began, and Rob asked Lillie to marry him.
