[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Soft neutral color palette, shades of white, cream, and a very light sand with touches of a caramel brown in the florals, touches of light tan and sand in the linens, minimal accents of gold [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Overall RJ + Eric were going for a clean sophisticated wedding with a modern touch. It was important to them that everything was sleek and then we brought in a texture through florals all while keeping the colors neutral and soft. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]In December 2022, Eric suggested that we take a walk through the Boston Commons before a “Bruins game” that we supposedly had tickets for. We generally never walk anywhere without our dog, so when Eric told me that we should leave him behind, the plan became a little suspicious. We walked from our apartment in the South End through the Commons, and when we got to the bridge, he got down on one knee. While he was proposing, I started to hear people yelling – I assumed it was random people walking by, but when I looked over I saw both of our families running towards us out of the bushes. This was a total surprise, especially since my family lives farther away. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]For the bridal gown, I wanted something that I felt most comfortable in and kind of mimicked my everyday style, so I went with a simple strapless gown and added some excitement with my embroidered veil.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]For the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen, we wanted a clean, chic look so we had everyone in matching color and style. Bridesmaids were in silky champagne to feel cohesive with our color palette. [/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Groomsmen were in black to keep with our elevated and sophisticated feel. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]We kept the hors d’oeuvres on the lighter side due to it being summer and outdoors
We absolutely loved the halibut entree! Food was very important since were bringing guests a long distance, we wanted to make sure they were impressed with the Napa cuisine! It was the best we’ve ever had. Our specialty cocktails were His – Espresso Martini, Hers – French 75 and for our dog a – Spicy Margarita. They all were such a huge hit, especially the espresso martinis.
[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]We leaned into soft tones of sand and caramel to bring a little more warmth to the overall look. Linens had a slight texture to them to enhance the elevated feel while keeping them white to let the florals and gold accents shine. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Keeping with our clean and sleek aesthetic, our cake was smooth white with pops of real blooms to tie into our whole look. It was the perfect accent to a fun moment where guests cheered as we took our first bites of cake as newlyweds! [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]We kept our ceremony super short and sweet, which our guests loved. Although it was short, our officiant added in a surprise personal excerpt that was really thoughtful and special to us. We did private vows earlier in the morning over coffee and it was perfectly us. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The first dance – we were kind of dreading this because it’s not anything we were comfortable with doing, even after taking lessons. But we both had so much fun and it was one of the highlights from the day for both of us!
[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]We are obsessed with how all of out florals came out! Although our overall design was clean, the super textured florals were really additive to the vibe and we loved them. The ikebana style allowed us to showcase some true floral artistry and is so different from many of the weddings we have been to. They were stunning and truly brought the whole vision to life.
[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]After the ceremony our planner whisked us away to the bridal suite and we got to sample all our passed hors d’oeuvres and have a few minutes to ourselves. This moment ended up being so special to be able to have some time alone to let the huge moment sink and we got to nibble on some seriously tasty bites.
