Preppy Waterfront Wedding at the Seattle Tennis Club

Preppy Tennis Club Outdoor Waterfront Wedding! The setting is the North Lawn of the Seattle Tennis Club that sits on the shores of Lake Washington with Mt. Rainier views and a glorious sailcloth tidewater tent, complete with waving flags atop the tent peaks! A circle bar on the lawn for the reception, and the most breathtaking ceremony views!

The bride changed out of her timeless strapless gown with long cascading veil into a fun flapper dress for her after party!

The Maid of Honor's gown matched the invitation and dinner menu floral design!

The groom switched into a white suit jacket for reception that looked so dapper!

Guests enjoyed locally sourced pacific oysters at the oyster shucking bar of cocktail hour while they sipped on Spicy Margaritas and Gimlets! You can't forget the Monogrammed Ice Luge + Sculpture that gueasts enjoyed for the reception that stood next to the grand circle bar on the North Lawn! For the After Party, guests were treated to Espresso Martinis that were "on theme" for the Sleepless in Seattle-themed after party! And don't forget the monogrammed cups for cocktails with napkins that read: "Overserved" with crossed tennis racquets!

Flowers were to be lush and classic--and everyrwhere! From the giant floral arch that overlooked Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier views, to the grand tent entrance, the flowers were a plentiful. Very tasteful whites and green arrangements donned the guest tables with lovely textured white linens and patterned napkins. Don't forget the paper goods! All crafted by the talented Grey & Cake, the paper goods were delicate and timeless, with the same Tennis Club nod in white and green. The oval place cards on the bread and butter plates were one of our favorite touches!

The bride opted for a three-tiered white buttercream sugar-flowered monochromatic wedding cake! It stood in front of the floral arch for the reception until it was whisked away into the tent for its big moment with the bride and groom!

"Bar Song" by Tipsy was a popular song at the reception that the band played while guests took shots from the ice luge! Guests were escorted by the horns of the band as the bride and groom led the way from cocktail hour back down to the North Lawn for the grand reveal of the reception tent!

Their guest book was a custom-made vintage tennis racquet display, mounted in a canvas frame with room for guests to sign. A monogramed "B" was painted on the center racquet as a nod to the couples' last name, "Burkland".

The custom monogram was carved into their Ice Luge/sculpture that guests took ice luge shots from all night!

After Party in the Clubhouse with "Sleepless in Seattle" trucker hats and Seattle famous Dick's Burgers being passed out by the groom!
