[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The color palette of the wedding featured a blend of white, gold, rose gold, and blush. White was prominently featured in all the floral arrangements, creating a fresh and timeless backdrop. Gold and blush provided striking pops of contrast, with blush linens adorned with intricate beading, gold candle holders, gold silverware, and gold accents on the dinnerware. This thoughtful combination of colors added layers of elegance and sophistication, enhancing the overall aesthetic and creating a visually stunning setting that perfectly complemented the couple’s modern yet romantic vision.[/field]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Andrea and Rich wanted to create an atmosphere that blends clean and modern aesthetics with a loose, airy, and romantic elegance. They used flowers such as ranunculus, roses, sweet peas, lunaria, baby’s breath and hydrangea all throughout the wedding. The couple loved the idea of having statement elements that felt unique and original. The ceremony space had a serene and ethereal ambiance, with natural light filtering through the surrounding greenery. The white chairs matched the clean design, complementing the airy and romantic elegance of the setting. The bride and groom stood underneath a floral canopy, with white blooms cascading gently to create a dreamy, floating effect. The combination of sophisticated simplicity and natural beauty created a sense of timeless romance, making it the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt exchange of vows. Their reception space continued the theme of clean, modern aesthetics combined with loose, airy, and romantic elegance. The softly lit room, with its high ceilings, created an inviting and intimate atmosphere. The standout feature was the suspended floral arrangements, echoing the ethereal beauty of the ceremony space with their cascading white blooms and delicate hanging lights. The warm tones of the tables and chairs added a touch of sophistication, while the carefully curated floral centerpieces enhanced the romantic vibe. This seamless transition from ceremony to reception ensured that the unique, captivating ambiance Andrea and Rich envisioned carried through every moment of their special day.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]From Andrea:

Rich and I planned a trip to Wine Country for my birthday in April 2020. We diligently planned and researched for months ahead of time. We even scored a reservation at The French Laundry on my actual birthday! As the world was shutting down in the weeks leading up to our trip, we knew our trip was going to have to be postponed. Fast forward to November 2022, we finally took our Napa Valley trip, including dinner at TFL. We stayed in Yountville, just a few blocks from the restaurant. On the night of our dinner, the Philadelphia Eagles were playing at the same time as The Philadelphia Phillies…two of Rich’s favorite teams! Also, coinciding with our dinner reservation! As we rushed to get out of the hotel and to TFL, I was a few steps ahead of him during the walk to dinner. Rich was on his phone checking scores. At one point I turned around, getting frustrated that we were going to be late to dinner and Rich was down on one knee, ring box open, phone still in hand, asking Siri what the score was of the Eagles game! I said YES but also HURRY we can’t be late to TFL! I’d say an engagement and dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in the world, makes for an unforgettable evening! [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Adding a personal touch to their wedding reception, the couple delighted guests with two signature cocktails named in honor of their beloved dogs. The “Georgie Peach” was a refreshing blend of Sauvignon Blanc, sparkling water, and peach schnapps, while the “Sherbie Bourbon” showcased the robust flavors of Basil Hayden bourbon with a hint of ginger. The wedding menu was a culinary masterpiece, offering a sophisticated selection of dishes to please a variety of tastes. Guests began with a classic Caesar salad, followed by a delectable bucatini pasta paired with truffle butter and maitake mushrooms. For the main course, attendees could choose between a Niman Ranch filet mignon with Bordelaise sauce, mascarpone polenta, carrots, and Brussels sprouts, or a delicate olive oil poached halibut with beurre blanc, mascarpone polenta, carrots, and Brussels sprouts. A vegetarian option featured roasted cauliflower with chickpeas, garbanzo beans, cashew tapenade, and mint cilantro, rounding out the diverse and delicious menu.[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The wedding was a breathtaking display of white florals, setting a tone of pure elegance and romance. Pristine white roses and delicate baby’s breath adorned every corner, their soft textures and gentle hues creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. At the front of the ceremony, a magnificent four-post arch was enveloped in a lush canopy of flowers, with elaborate arrangements at each base further highlighting the grandeur of the setting. The reception tables continued the theme with lush white floral arrangements running down the center, beautifully complemented by a mix of tall and short candles that cast a warm, soft glow. Each place setting was meticulously curated with gleaming gold silverware and rose-colored napkins, blending refinement with a subtle touch of contrast. This cohesive design created a luxurious and timeless ambiance, perfectly reflecting the couple’s vision of sophisticated elegance.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a delightful centerpiece that perfectly captured the couple’s whimsical and loving nature. This elegant three-tiered creation, enveloped in smooth blush pink fondant, exuded soft, romantic charm. A unique and heartwarming touch was added at the bottom of the cake, where replicas of the couple’s beloved dogs, George and Sherwood, peeked out from a small cut-out. This charming detail not only brought an extra layer of joy and personality to the cake but also highlighted the special place their pets hold in their hearts.[/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Andrea chose Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” for her walk down the aisle because the song’s melody and reflective lyrics deeply resonated with her. Its themes of love, beauty, and the passage of time mirrored her own feelings as she embarked on a new chapter of her life. The lyrics, which contemplate whether love will endure as time goes by, perfectly captured her hopes and dreams for the future. The song’s ethereal quality added a layer of timeless elegance to the moment, making her walk down the aisle both poignant and unforgettable.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Cannoli’s were flown in from Andrea and Rich’s favorite Cannoli purveyor, Termini Brothers, from Philadelphia which has been around for over 100 years. The signage for the cannoli station was an homage to The Soprano’s! “Leave the gun, take the cannoli”[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Bringing Andrea and Rich’s closest family and friends to Napa Valley from the East Coast called for a welcome dinner in a wine cave, something that is so special to the Napa region. They chose Clos Pegase which is know for its complex Cabernet Sauvignons, a favorite of Rich’s. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]During cocktail hour and the reception, Andrea and Rich added a unique touch with Vogue Vignette, offering guests personalized sketches that captured their individual style and essence. This special feature allowed guests to leave with a custom keepsake from the event, adding a memorable and personal element to the celebration.[/field]
