The Blueprint for Balancing Textures at Boxwood Manor
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
For Margaret and Chandler’s wedding, their vision evolved from when I initially met with Margaret to event day. Initially, she loved the contemporary white / black vibe but with Boxwood Manor being all white, we wanted to bring in some warmth to the space.
Balancing the textures in the room with the trees to create a timeliness look was the final design!
Proposal Story
Chandler proposed to Margaret under a large tree on his family’s property near College Station. I remember seeing the photo they showed me and thought it would be cool to bring that detail into their wedding design story. We initially thought of one massive tree in the middle of the ballroom but didn’t want it to obstruct too many guests from stage / dance area so went with the long line of trees to enhance of the head table design. From there, we worked the design of table top details based on the natural green.
