A Mountain Chic Summer Wedding With a Citrus Palette in Lake Tahoe
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
Design and vibe was a mountain chic summer citrus pallet that Kirsten and her mom worked closely with their wedding planner Courtney Rolovich to come up with- lots of bright colored florals to pop mixed with blue linens to highlight the gorgeous natural mountain setting of Lake Tahoe.
Proposal Story
Austin and Kirsten are high school sweethearts and have been together for 11 years. After doing long distance on opposite sides of the country for college (Kirsten in CA and Austin in DC) they moved to NYC to be together.
Austin proposed on the beach in south Florida where they have been spent lots of time visiting throughout their relationship. It was just the two of them and they spent the weekend celebrating privately together before Austin surprised Kirsten with a party back in New York with all their friends and family!

Florals & Decor
ThePoshPosey crushed it with the summer citrus/organic vibe!! Greenery hung throughout the clear tent which was able to highlight the beautiful mountain setting surrounding the wedding and the light up trees of the resort. Mix of long and round tables with a mix of linens / style of flower arrangements for an interesting look.
Carlie Statsky did an incredible job photographing the incredible night- Kirsten and Austin were the first to get married of their friend group so the energy was high and everyone was excited to celebrate these two!
Wedding Cake
Retro inspired wedding cake that was made at the Everline Resort.

Kirsten came down to 'Dancing Queen' acoustic, their first dance song was 'Real Love Baby' by Father John Misty.
