Step Into a Regency-Inspired Wedding at Cairnwood Estate
The Planning
The Inspiration
Step into a Regency-inspired romance amidst the peach-hued historic walls of Cairnwood Estate. Our latest wedding editorial is an homage to spring pastels and the enchanting essence of an English garden soirée. From whimsical florals to meticulously curated modern accessories, every detail crafts a fresh vision for the seasons ahead. “This whole shoot was inspired by the color and pattern of a new table linen by @reverie_social. Once I had that in hand, everything came into alignment. Accentuating textures to enhance the historic Cairnwood Estate while allowing a plethora of delicate blooms to guide us to a portal of opulent magnificence,” says Blaire from Gilded Lily Events.
The Venue
Cairnwood estate was such a beautiful historic backdrop for our wedding editorial. This hidden gem is just right outside of Philadelphia.
"Cairnwood Estate was designed by Carrère and Hastings in the Beaux Arts style. The meticulous decorative elements blend influences from classical Greek and Roman architecture with French Renaissance ideas."

Wedding Gown
The bride's Anne Barge gown, paired with a regal cape, was a true highlight, exuding elegance with its intricate lace details and flowing silhouette. The groom's caramel tuxedo added a unique touch, perfectly complementing the bride's ensemble. With playful outfit changes and accessories, the aesthetic was a delightful blend of tradition and modernity. Our favorite details included a Cult Gaia beaded bag and baby blue Jimmy Choos, adding an extra layer of style to this editorial.
Later, our bride changed into a chic mini green Tuckernuck dress to dance into the evening.

Florals & Decor
The pastels and texture accentuated a plethora of delicate blooms to guide us to a portal of opulent magnificence. We especially loved the floral archway which perfectly framed the intimate dinner scene. It truly felt like a magical evening wrapped in a garden.
Favorite Design Element
We particularly loved the cane accents, which added a distinctive charm to the overall design.
Tips To Pull Off The Look
I would recommend focusing on the the unique florals the season has to offer. We had such a great time pulling inspiration from vibrant irises and other garden florals. It really made everything more magical and whimsical.
