The Blueprint for a Perfect Summer Garden Party at Naylor Hall

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
The overall vision was a garden party with a nod to Italy - where the couple got engaged! The color pallet was directly inspired by summer and took advantage of the lush colors that surrounded Naylor Hall. The bride knew the venues grand front porch was the perfect altar and utilizing the outside was her top priority. The design started to shine from the beginning as guests received their custom invitations with a watercolored image of the bride and groom walking through a field of flowers foreshadowing the event to come. The bride and her mom hand selected every potted plant that lined the ceremony aisle and steps all the way to the back of the reception tent - transforming the venue into a secret garden.
Proposal Story
Will proposed to Amanda on a trip to Italy in May of 2022!
The Fashion
Wedding Gown
The bride stunned in a Dany Tabet gown from White Magnolia Bridal. The dress which caught the brides eye by its impressive 3D floral embellishments, was inspired by Claude Monet’s personal gardens from the Blanche Collection. The bride paired the dress with Jimmy Choos.
Bridesmaid Dresses
The bridesmaids wore all different dresses in a pastel yellow from Shop Revelry. Complimenting the vibrant summer greens of the bouquets created the perfect summer color palette.
Groomsman Attire
The groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos while the groom popped in a white jacket from Mens Warehouse.
The Details
Food & Drink
In the heart of Georgia, the couple knew the food had to be great! They selected caterer, Chef Carys Cuisine, known for their locally sourced selections and southern comfort food. Guests were delighted with a variety of options ranging from as shrimp and grits to mini sliders with aged cheddar, grilled red onion, and bacon jam. The couple highlighted their drink preferences with custom cocktails! The bride selected Amandas Aperol Sprits while the groom opted for Wills Old Fashioned.
Florals & Decor
The garden theme heavily inspired the flowers. The bouquets took advantage of the lush summer greens as their base, and added hints of pink and yellow blooms to make them truly pop. The bride selected to have the ceremony aisle lined with white rose petals and personally selected pots of pink flowers to bring the vision of walking through a garden to life! The reception tent was luxuriously draped with white linens and lined with delicate string lighting to feel like you were dancing under the stars all night.
Wedding Cake
The all white tired wedding cake, from Lush Cakery, was decorated with delicate fondant flowers perfectly inspired by the embellishments of the brides dress. The grooms cake, from Bakers Man Inc, was a nod to the couples Alma matter, Auburn University, and their new puppy named after their wedding month - June!
