The wedding planner who also created the design plan of the day, Martina de Robertis shares: "When Andrea and Matthew contacted me and told me what their wedding idea was, I was thrilled! Their Italian origins brought them back here, among the hills of Tuscany. We immediately found ourselves in tune, mine is a simple and refined style with an important attention to even the smallest details. I firmly believe this can make a difference! We studied the environment and the spouses and also a style for them that could speak of them but also of the beautiful Tuscany, taking up the colors and tones and re-proposing them for the floral arrangements, the tablecloths, the stationery, therefore the pinks and browns that characterize Tuscan villas with "cotto", but also the green of the olive trees and pastel colors. To give an extra touch of romance we added candelabras with tall stems. Everything was in harmony. And then, the moment that no one expected: a fireworks display began from the hill which moved everyone, friends and family and officially kicked off the party!”

What we love about Tuscany is the perfect combination of its rich, earthy color palette and the understated elegance that comes from embracing simplicity. Proposal Story

Our beautiful bride, Andrea, shares the story: 'Our proposal was the perfect beginning to our fairytale wedding. On a perfect summers day in Montepulciano, Tuscany, we started our day the best way we know how - with a cornetto and cappuccino. After walking through the town, we climbed our way up to a perfect little garden by the side of the castle and, under the beautiful grapevines and warm Tuscan Sun, Matt proposed by describing all the beautiful details of our love and all that we hope for together in the future. By pure chance, a small band came and played classical music next to where we sat embracing one another and it was the most perfect moment. '

Andrea and Matthew's wedding in Tuscany was a celebration of love, heritage, and exquisite cuisine. The couple and their guests were treated to a delightful array of traditional Italian dishes that highlighted the rich culinary heritage of the region. From fresh pasta made with local ingredients to succulent meats and perfectly roasted vegetables, every dish was a testament to the flavors of Tuscany. The meal began with an assortment of antipasti, featuring bruschetta with ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a selection of cured meats. The first course included handmade ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, topped with a sage butter sauce. The main course showcased a tender Florentine steak, grilled to perfection and served with a side of roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. No Italian meal is complete without a selection of fine wines, and this wedding was no exception. Guests enjoyed a variety of local wines, including Chianti, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, and Brunello di Montalcino. Each sip complemented the meal perfectly, adding to the overall experience of dining in one of the world's most renowned wine regions.

The floral design and decor for Andrea and Matthew's wedding was nothing short of breathtaking, thanks to the incredible work between Luca Cozza Floral Design and the amazing planner Martina De Robertis (The Marthy's Vintage Garden). These pristine blooms were beautifully complemented by the lush greenery that Tuscany is so famous for, creating a harmonious blend that mirrored the natural beauty of the surroundings. The wedding cake was a true masterpiece, reflecting the elegance and grandeur of the day. Crafted by an exceptionally talented artist and florist, the cake was a stunning four-tier creation, adorned with white roses and touches of greenery that tied in perfectly with the overall floral theme. Each tier was meticulously decorated, showcasing the artistry and attention to detail that went into its creation. Before the cake cutting, guests were treated to an entertaining display of singing and dancing, which added a joyful and festive atmosphere to the celebration. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the spectacular five-minute firework display that followed. As the night sky lit up with dazzling colors, it provided a magical backdrop for the couple's first moments as husband and wife. Our beautiful bride, Andrea, shares the story: 'We chose a violin to create a beautiful, romantic ambiance for our guests and for our ceremony entrance. Andrea walked down the aisle with her mum and dad arm in arm to All of Me - John Legend. Our DJ from DJ Zano set the party scene and we all danced well into the next morning .'

Our beautiful bride, Andrea, shares the story: 'Our favorite detail of the day was surprise fireworks. We didn’t tell anyone - not even our families! It was such a beautiful moment of celebration for all things that were that night - our friends, our families, being together and a true ode to our love which is so luminous and magical.'

From my very personal perspective, I loved a lot of different details from the day. Beginning the day, I really loved the venue of the reception, Antica Fattoria di Paterno. A medieval venue which brings all the classical yet fancy Tuscany vibes into the main act! The combination of the old venue combined with amazing florals artwork by our amazing floral designer, made the wedding ceremony and reception really stand out!

Special Detail #3

As a photographer, I always admired all the details around the getting ready shots. This is the exact reason I always paid so much attention to my flatlays. I never wanted to create a flatlay that I may have seen before on Pinterest or in any other social. I always was into flatlaying every detail in a way that it will make this precious detail of the couple stand out even more. My favourite fashion detail of the day though were Andrea's amazing heels choice by the fashion forward brand THE ATTICO. It's really amazing how these shoes are so classy and chic yet they also have this amazing geometry detail on the heel side that made my fashion perspective do the happy hippo dance. Amazing detail!
