[field title=”Proposal Story”]

At the beginning of the summer of 2022, Tommy purchased an engagement ring for Anna with plans to propose as soon as possible. Those plans had to be postponed due to some unexpected events in their lives but Tommy held onto her ring with hopes of finding the perfect moment. When they purchased their first home together he knew it was the right time. As Anna and Tommy were moving into their home they found out some friends would be visiting, Anna made a joking remark that it would be a fun time to propose. Little did she know this was already in the works! They moved into their home on a Friday and Anna refused to go to sleep until every box was unpacked. Tommy begged her to go to sleep so that she would not be tired for the proposal that was planned for the next day. After a few hours of sleep, they prepared for their friends to arrive and for an Alabama game day in their new home. With the help of some friends who left during halftime to set it up the proposal site was ready adorned with candles and flowers. Tommy set up a rouse that he was showing his friends around Jacksonville, they pulled up to the spot that unbeknownst to Anna she picked out the spot on their many walks with their dogs, mentioning it would be a “good spot for a proposal”. Their friends had covered the stairs with flower petals, roses, and candles. In his excitement, Tommy completely forgot what he wanted to say but he proposed as the sunset and Anna answered with a resounding, “YES!” They celebrated with champagne and the best Mac N Cheese on earth from Silkies in Springfield. In hindsight, Tommy realized that he both met Anna and asked her to marry him right after an Alabama win.

Anne Barge// from The Bridal Finery – The first dress – Anna chose this gown because of its classic and stunning A-line style and the way she felt at home in the gown.

Calvet Couture// from Vagabond Bridal – The party dress – Anna chose this gown because it was a more fun dress to end the night on with a completely different vibe from the first gown. Form-fitting with shimmer, this gown ended the night with perfection!

Revelry and Assorted dresses were chosen by the bridesmaids to coordinate the colors of the wedding day perfectly. Each bridesmaid was given a color and they were able to pick out a gown that fit their personality/style and would allow for them to wear it more than once if they so choose.

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The Groom and Groomsmen wore a custom Joseph A. Bank black tuxedos with black bowtie in a classic style.

Later in the evening, the Groom changed into a white dinner jacket to coordinate with the Brides change of gown. Grooms deserve a change as well![/field]
